Author's Note: I'm really impressed and proud of how this one turned out! Comment and let me know what you think? It would be much appreciated! :)
Meeting you was like a masquerade ball,
You pretended to care for me in the fall,
But in the end, your true colors stand tall.
With flashbacks haunting every wall,
Its a miracle that I'm still breathing at all.
I dance up and down this lonely hall
With memories dancing around me like a masquerade ball.
You tore down my defensive wall,
And beat me down to your feet to tremble and crawl,
I'm starting to see what I should have saw.
Because of you my walls are 150 feet tall,
Because of you I won't let people in at all.
I'm scared, but I answer your every call,
We go 'round and 'round in this masquerade ball.
I see the front you put up for them all,
The way you trick them into thinking you are kind makes my skin crawl.
You think you can take these girls and make them into your doll,
Dressing them up and making them fall.
No one can see that you are deathly poison to us all,
It looks like more people have joined us in this masquerade ball.
