August 1st

You woke up sweating. Your heart was pounding through your chest.

The ringing inside your ears began to subside as your vision became less blurry. Placing your right hand over your heart, you reflected on your nightmare.

The dark room where you were standing echoed loud, screeching noises into your brain. You tried to scream for help yet nothing came out. The nightmare had been recurring for a week and you didn't know why, but it always ended with a boy standing in front of you, wearing a black suit. His mouth would move yet no words could escape it. No matter how hard you tried, you had no idea what he was saying.

Then you would wake up.

Today was no different. The dream had played out, the boy had appeared, and you woke up.

Sighing, you sat upright on your bed. Looking around your plain room, you noticed a flashing blue light from your phone that signaled a message had been recieved.

You unlocked your phone and searched for the new message.

J.

Good morning! Let's hang out at the park today I made you something that you'll love.

A smile formed across your face stretching to your ears. You gently moved your finger across the contact name. Thinking about the crazy plans that you and him were going through with made your head spin.

Softly biting your lip, you replied to him with a simple 'Can't wait!'

After getting ready, you were about to leave your house until your phone rang. Thinking it was him calling to assure that you were coming, you answered with a cutesie phrase.

"Hi bunny! Don't worry I'm on my way!" You were smiling brightly until you heard an uncomfortable cough that was unlike your boyfriend.

Removing the phone from your ear, you looked at the contact. Giggling a bit at your mistake, you corrected your first statement.

"Yo yo yo, sorry, I didn't realise it was you." You heard a faint sigh from the other end.

"Hi Y/n. Actually, I'm calling about him." The other person slowly inhaled and exhaled. You listened to their steady breathe as you began to leave your house.

"Oh?"

"Don't you think this is a little fast? You and him, I mean," the man sighed, pausing to collect his thoughts. "Take some time to think it out, you know I just want the best for you."

His voice was very soft as to not aggravate you. You rolled your eyes a bit hearing this for the hundredth time.

"This is the best decision. It'll be cheaper for the both of us and I'm not that far away." You tried to keep your voice calm, but you couldn't help to add hints of sass.

"There's no way I'm convincing you am I?" You heard a low chuckle and could tell that he was lightly smiling.

"Nope." You said, popping the 'p'. You both laughed.

"You're going to meet him right? Then I'll be going." You greeted him goodbye aswell, laughing since he started mumbling something about your relationship being cute.

...

The park was pretty, large trees covered some sunlight which made the leaves more vibrant. It was almost empty, since it was so early in the morning.

You were almost at the meeting spot when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning around you saw the older woman who you've met countless times.

"Oh...hi I didn't know you were joining us too." You said to the sophisticated looking woman.
