Sitting up on your bed, you lazily rubbed the sleep from your eyes. Groaning, you glanced at the grandfather clock on the other side of the room
"8:17 am" it read. I sighed loudly. Breakfast ends at 9:00 am, so I'd best get a move on if I want to eat at all.
No one else was in the dorm, so I was free to change without feeling like people were watching. Grabbing a skirt and undershirt, I slipped them on. I reached down for a shirt when an idea struck me.A devilish grin spread across my face, as I quickly crossed to the boys dorm. Girls aren't allowed in there, so I need to be careful.
I peered over the balcony. Only two boys were on the settees, so that made it easy for me to sneak across. Whether or not there were any boys in the dorm were a different story.Reaching the boys dorm, I closed my eyes and gripped the iron door handle. Here goes nothing. I opened the door a crack just to peek in. No one was there.
I mentally high-fives myself as I flung the door open all the way. Scurrying to George's chest of draws, I scrambled to find what I was looking for. I beamed in happiness when I found his oversized white shirt and his sweater (notice how I'm trying not to say 'sweatshirt') with a large 'G' printed on front. I've hit the jackpot!
Quickly throwing the clothes on, I sped downstairs, nearly tripping on my way out of the portrait. It was a mad dash against time, and I needed to be there for breakfast!
"8:22 am" read a large clock. I was only able to glance quickly. I needed to make it in time!
Finally, I reached the doors to the great hall. I smiled and marched confidently down the isle to the Gryffindor table.
"Fancy seeing you here," the twins said in unison. George glanced up from his plate of scrambled eggs.
"Oi, just what do you think you're doing wearing that?" He demanded. I stifled a laugh and responded.
"I thought it looked cute..." I pouted, trying to seem innocent.
"Well, you're right about that, but that doesn't mean you can take my stuff without asking," he said, moderately annoyed.
George had a point. You should have floated the idea with him first before you took it.
You said nothing, just grabbed a couple of pancakes and tried to enjoy the rest of your meal."I'll leave you two to it," Fred said, clapping his brother on the back. He then got up and left, leaving just George and you.
Nothing was said, no looks exchanged. Just silence as the rest of the hall chatted noisily.
"I'm sorry," you finally said.
"Whatever for?" George looked up, clearly confused.
"Is your memory that short? I'm sorry for taking your stuff!" You exclaimed, slightly louder.
"(Y/N), it's fine! There's no harm done. I'm not even that mad," he said, attempting a smile to cheer you up. Your head shot up at his words.
"Really?"
"Really."
The rest of breakfast went on as normal, with George cracking jokes left and right, and you laughing so hard it felt like orange juice would come out of your ears, it really was like nothing ever happened.
George put his arm around your waist on the way out. As you were walking up the stairs, he stopped, and leaned in to tell you something.
In a hushed voice, he asked,
"Remember how I said you looked good in my clothes?"You nodded your head.
"Well I think they'll look even better on the floor," he smirked.
"George!" You gasped, pushing his shoulder.
The two of you ran upstairs where the two of you shared a passionate kiss....
Oh boy, sorry about the long wait. I also had no idea how to end this which is why the ending sucks. :/
Anyway, thank you for waiting! I'll be trying to update more regularly form now on!
Adios!
