Jakes p.o.v

We have another appointment at the hostpital today. Laceys still asleep and i seriously dont know what to do with myself, we finally moved into the house yesterday after finally getting her parents to come around to the idea.

Elijah-James really is growing now and hes putting quite the strain on Laceys weight and balance, she cant stay on her feet for aslong as she usually could other wise she really aches afterwards. The nurse today will confirm when she has to have him and hopefully it will be soon.

I head towards the bedroom attempting to wake Lace up, its unreal how tired she actually gets lately.
I'm so looking forawrd to seeing my little boy again, lacey shows the scan to everybody and alls they say is that he looks alot like me. I really cant wait for our little family to be completed, alls we need is for him to be born.

"Lacey" I say sitting on the edge of the bed, rocking her closely "c'mon its time to wake up, we have to go to the hostpital remember"

She rolls over a little to look at me and she places her hand over her stomach, a smile slowly covers her face.

"Hey sleepy head" I say giving Lacey a kiss on her forehead.

"Hey Jake" she smiles.

"are you going to get ready babe, we see Elijah again today"

Laceys p.o.v

I awoke to Jake sitting on the edge of the bed, he seriously couldnt get any cuter right now. I sit up slowly as the bottom of my bump scrapes across my folded legs, I really am pregnant.

"Hey babe, pass me my phone from the cabinet over there" I say.

Jake reaches over to the cabinet and passes over my phone. I need to message Lydia and tell her to start getting ready, I promised her she could come to the scan today as shes certain she is gonna be Elijah-james best auntie.

I type Lydias message 'hey Lyd, you still up for the babys scan later on, if so be at my house by 12:30 I cant wait to see you x' I've not seen her in what feels like forever considering we used to spend everyday together. Its probably gonna be like that when school starts again, exactly 2 and a half weeks until study leave is over and I am so not ready to see everyone again yet anyways. Hopefully they decide Elijahs big enough to come out before then because he is stretching my body beyond repair. I chuckle to my self.

"Well jake if you want me to get ready then your going to have to go downstairs" I say joking.

"I'm your boyfriend Lacey, ive seen everything before"

"Yeah but its different and embarrassing" I cover my face.

I feel jake moving closer to me, his arms wrap around me as he sits directly infront of me.

"Your beautiful and carrying our baby,  but i'll be downstairs if you need anything and I love you" I keep hold of jake refusing to let him go, I just want to stay like this for as long as possible before I really do have to get ready.

"I love you too jake" I respond to his previous speech, he really does surprise me sometimes.

1 hour later

So I decided to wear the nike tracksuit bottoms jake bought for me last week, theyre black with a white nite tick on the corner. I decide to wear a black vest top with them and my really cute unicorn socks, im such a kid sometimes.
My white converse will go great with this outfit.

"Are you ready Lacey" I hear jake shout from downstairs"we have actually got to be there soon"

I rush around my room picking up my purse, phone and keys "yeah babe I'm coming down now"

When I reach the bottom of the stairs Jake's sat on the front porch waiting for me, I turn of everything that jake left on the lights and the tv before shutting the front door and ensuring that I locked it.

"I'm driving"jake jokes nudging me.
"No jake your not, ive not driven in what feels like years so its only fair that you let your pregnant girlfriend drive" I laugh, jake leans over and pecks my lips.
"Okay love I suppose you could drive"

I start the ignition and start the drive to the hostpital, my parents must be home because I caught a glimpse at their driveway and the car is there.

The ride to the hospital was mostly quiet other than occasional chats about how long we think its gonna be until our baby is born, im so excited.
"Are you excited?" I ask.

"Extremely"he reaches over and places his hand on my bump "he really does have alot of energy for such a little baby"

"Yeah well right now he doesnt bloody feel like a little baby Jake" I joke. He really doesnt though this bump makes him feel huge because of my small build, I cant wait to be back to normal even though these sleepless nights will never go away now theres so much to do yet so little time.

I open the door of the car and struggle out of the drivers seat and wait for jake to come round so I can hold his hand. I smile to myself I really do love him and his company and so will Elijah.

I take out my phone and text Lydia 'where are you, we have to go in soon' she was supposed to be coming with us today but she didnt show up at the house so I figured she would meet us here.

My phone vibrates, its Lydia 'omg sorry Lacey I really can't make it, I'll come over to your house when your back, I really need to speak to you, love you lots and lots' I sigh and text back, I really wanted her to come.

"Well jake lydia decided she couldnt make it, so it looks as though its just us" I put my head on the top of his arm and begin to walk towards the hostpital.

"Well you have me" he assures me.

3 hours later

The appointment went exactly how we expected there has been a change in a delivery date, they moved the birth of Elijah forward to next week holy crap, we have literally a week to get the house sorted, first to start on the baby's room

We came home to Lydia and her father at my door, it musnt be good news if he's here.

"Hey Lyd, is everything okay?" I motioned towards her father and gave him a nod in attempt to greet him.
"Lydia, Jake as you know Jake was apart of a big group of people just like him and I, well Jake is in a great amount of danger as the leader of all alphas from his area know that he has found his mate or the women that he loves" he takes a deep breathe in "your pregnant with a human baby with the powers of a wolf and they see this as a threat, they are going to try to harm you and the baby Lacey"
