Beelp's POV

"Stop staring at me, Nwoir!" I yell at him, throwing a bouquet at where I know he's hiding. Why had I still been carrying that? Nevermind, guess I better introduce him. Nwoir's been my friend since... like... ever. I think I met him when I was about 3 or 4, but it was such a long time ago, that I seriously don't remember exactly when it was. Like me, he's 14. I'm from Bellace- the light side of Avalon, and he's from Wyrlace- the dark side of Avalon. Whenever we can, we sneak out here and just hang out; practicing magic, swordplay, and that sort of stuff. He's quite, cool, and has that dark/mysterious vibe going; which makes him the total opposite of me. Somehow we get along perfectly. It's easy for me to say that he's the person I trust the most. For anyone getting ideas, he's my best friend; end of story. So get that look off your face!

He catches the bouquet easily, and jumps down from the tree. As always he's wearing all black; black jeans, a black t-shirt, black sneakers, and his black dragon-skin jacket. Sure he looks cool when he wears all black, except for the fact that he's pale as death and the dark colour makes him look even paler than he really is.

"You're late," he says throwing the bouquet to one side, and I roll my eyes.

"What, really? I though I was early." I reply sarcastically.

"And in a wedding dress?" He asks, ignoring my comment and staring at me as though I've lost my mind. I stick my tongue out at him. Yup, my level is amazing, isn't it?

"Just so we're clear, this," I say, gesturing at the white dress. "Was not my idea. And the rest is kinda of a long story.." Ok, that's an understatement but, I have no idea how the hell I'm supposed to explain what's going on. Hey, even I was still confused. As Nwoir looks at me quizzically, his silver eyes shinning on the dim moonlight, the sky behind me suddenly lights up. I turn and stare at the fireworks display that's starting back at Bellace.

Crap, the fireworks have already started.

"Which I don't think you'll have time to hear, because that's not good." I say pointing to the fireworks. "We've got about 25 minutes before they realize I'm gone. Can you unzip this so I can get changed?" I ask, as I turn back to him.

"Sure. But seriously Beelp, what the hell is going on?" He asks, as I turn around so he can get the zipper.

"It's my wedding night." I say matter-of-factly. That's probably the best place to start. Right?

"WHAT?!" He yells, and I jump. Turning, I smack his forehead with the palm of my hand. "Ow."

"I'm standing right here, don't yell!" I scowl, my ears still ringing. My sense of hearing is better than most peoples. The only down side to that however, is that I can't stand loud noises.

"Sorry." He says in a flat tone. Wow, cold.

"Beelp to ice cube, yo, Nwoir you still in there?" I say teasingly as I wave a hand in front of his face.

"What are you doing?" He says as he gives me another questioning look. Sheesh, why is he so judgemental?

"Stop being so cold. Both personality wise and physically. I mean, look what you did to that poor tree!" I say as I point to a tree who's trunk is covered in frost. I can tell it's his doing because the frost created a perfect Nwoir shaped silhouette on the trees trunk. No doubt wondering what the hell I'm talking about, Nwoir turns and looks at the tree.

"Shit." He hisses under his breath. I guess he hadn't even noticed what he'd done.

"Either way, stop being so cold hearted, it scares people away." I nag as he turns back to face me.
