I awake, to Marcy and Darcy laughing, even thought their laughter is coming from the backyard, it's still loud. I jump out of bed, putting on my slippers, walking down the dark hallways, and into the darkness of the fenced in backyard. The second I walk out their laughter stops. "Marcy and Darcy, I know your out here!" I screech.
Then I hear a weird voice coming from the tree house, so I blindly climb into darkness. Carefully, I feel around, then I feel my phone, it was playing spongebob music. I can't believe them! After I put my phone in my pocket, I feel one of the twins. "Boo," I jump back, but then remember it's just Marcy or....Darcy. "It's Darcy BTW, sorry if I scared you." Darcy giggles.
"Where's M-" Darcy interrupts me, "Marcy climbed the tall oak tree the one that's next to the treehouse. She seemed sad, but I'm getting cold, so I'm heading inside," Darcy starts climbing down the ladder, before I can respond. "The tall oak tree?! That's dangerous!" I shout heading down to the oak tree.
I see Marcy sitting up on the highest branch with her head down. "Marcy, get down from there!" I shout looking up at her. "No, I'm talking to dad!" Marcy yells back. Dad's dead, dumbo. "What's all this yelling about?!" Mom scolds us as she walks outside, holding a flashlight. "One, thanks for the little light your shining back here, and two, Marcy climbed to the highest branch of the oak tree and refuses to climb down since she's talking to dad," I explain.
"Marcy you better get down here, or I'm climbing up!" Mom turns and looks up at Marcy. After no response Mom starts climbing up, looking fearless not scared. Finally mom gets a hold on Marcy.
