24. I'm not losing her again

Myungsoo P.O.V.

It is Hana!! I wanted to just run to her and hug her, and kiss her. But I can't.

I stayed listening to the conversation they were having.

"Yeah you haven't changed. Life is treating me good. Where's Arian?" Arian? Oh Ji-hun

"He's sleeping over with Zara and Jaxon. Celeste's daughter and son." That must be the reason Ji-hun isn't with her.

I wonder how big he's grown, 4 years now.

"Well just wanted to check on you and Arian. See how you guys are doing." Why did Minho lie to me all these years?!

"What's wrong? Did something happen to Myungsoo?" She still cares for me

"I heard from Mary that you plan on moving again." What!? Why?!

I just found her and she wants to disappear again. No she can't!

"Yeah. I'm going somewhere else. We're leaving tomorrow in the afternoon" I was going to get up and just walk over there, but I didn't.

"You what?" Minho looked very pissed, but calmed down. "Why leave? You've been hiding for 4 years now... Do you know how much it has affected us? How much it has affected L... It has affected him the most. He has been searching for you and Arian non-stop. He's confronted everyone for you. Before we came to New York. He got in a huge argument with his mom." Her eyes grew wide.

"What do you mean 'we'? Minho is he in New York? Did you tell him I'm here and so is Arian?" He should have though.

He knows how much I've suffered without you.

"He has no clue about anything. I made a promise to you and i'm keeping it. He came for some business and also to search for you." Her eyes grew wide again.

Minho made a promise to her and I understand that he keeps them, but couldn't he just have told me, that he saw her, and talked to her, that she was well, he didn't have to tell me where she was, all I wanted to know was that her and Arian are well and safe.

"I think i bumped into him earlier." She recognized me as well "... His face was covered... I recognized his voice..."

"Are you sure? Did he recognize you?" I recognized her as well.

I got up and walked out the place and just looked from outside. I texted Minho, to see what would happen.

I'll be meeting him in a bar in 30 mints so I go home and change fast and then head there.

I can't allow her to disappear again.

"Minho be honest with me, do you honestly not know anything about Hana? Or Ji-Hun?" He looks sad

"No, but you said you know who threatened her... Who is it?" i looked down.

"My mother..." he spilled his drink.

"Your mother has been threatening my cousin!!" yes...

"I have all the proof. Krystal gave it to me, the day before we came to New York. She was done with my mothers nonsense and decided to help me. I also found out something else." he gave me the 'what is it look' "I felt betrayed by this person, but I understand that they did this too protect her." he kept giving me the 'who' look

"Well who is it?" i chuckled a bit.

"You, Choi Minho" he was shocked.

"Ho- How did you? How- How long? When?" i took a sip of my drink.

"Today. When I bumped into her and followed her. I recognized her voice" he didn't say anything. "How long have you been keeping this from me? Who else knows?" he looked at me

"3 years.... Mary and Aiden also knew. We promised not to say a word to anyone. She made us promise, she was scared of what her... your mother would have done to Arian" ... I understand...

"Where does Celeste live? I want to meet my son." he wasn't expecting me to say that.

"I don-"

"I have all the right too. It's been 4 years, so don't you dare say anything. If you don't want to go then just give me her address and i'll go there myself." he got up from his chair and paid for the food.

We walked out and took a cab.

About half an hour later we arrived to a hotel building. I'm guessing this is where Celeste lives.

I pay the cab driver and I follow Minho inside.

"Do you still want us to follow her?" Yes, I can't lose her again.

"Don't lose sight of her, I'll be there as well, track her car, her phone, anything traceable." They're following her to the airport right now.

"Ok, we believe she might be changing the airport destination we'll send you the directions." I hang up and Minho is already waiting for me at the door.

We walk out quietly. We don't say a word, we had a brief talk about everything and why my mother would go this far, why she  didn't want me with Hana

I will confront my mother once I get back and make her explain everything.

My phone starts ringing and it's the detective.

"Sir she's going back to London. We've hacked into her computer. We've found lots of information, the messaged with your mother threatening her and other things." Now my mother can lie to me, I have enough evidence.

"Save everything and take it back to Korean, you know where to put it." With that I hanged up.

We drove all the way to the airport and arrived. It was to late her flight had just left.

I need to stop that plane. Minho and the detective pulled me back. We know where they're going at least, but to be able to find them.

"Follow us, we're taking another plane. It'll arrive before the other plane." i follow them.

I'm not losing her again, this time i'm going to fight for her with everything I have. What did my mother tell her to make her run from me. What is my mother actually capable of? 

If I have to I will take all the evidence I have to the police and put my mother in jail. She may be my mother, but she's hurting the people I love and she's already taken Hana away once, i'm not going to let her take her away again.
