You and Spark have been wandering through the forest for a while now. You've successfully caught a Pidgey and an Ekans, but it's almost nightfall... and you're lost. *applause*

"Which way now?" I look at all the different paths we could take. "I know we already took that one, and that didn't lead anywhere... or was it that other one? Or was it the one with the bushes that had red berries? Wait, no I'm pretty sure it was yellow berries..."

"You know, we could just wait for someone to come get us. After all, this isn't a completely wild forest, they still have rangers here occasionally." Spark says.

"This sucks," I say. "We're lost for maybe the fifth or sixth time, and not only do we not have a map, but we don't have a flashlight either."

"We're not that lost. Besides, look on the bright side!" Spark insists cheerfully.

"That's the problem, there WON'T be a bright side in a few hours." I joke and gesture to the quickly setting sun. "Let's just stop and sit it out for a while on that rock over there." It's perfect for sitting and conveniently located underneath a tree.

"Hey, at least the sunset's kinda pretty. Just look at the oranges and purples and pinks... it can't get much worse than this." And as soon as he finishes his sentence, we hear thunder rumbling in the distance. A fat droplet lands on my head. Gray clouds begin to cover the beautiful sunset.

"You just HAD to say that." I sigh. "Here, I have an umbrella we can use." I rummage around in my bag for my umbrella. Once I find it, I realize how childishly pink it is. God, I've had this since... like what, I was five? Spark doesn't seem to notice much.

"Here, let me carry it, I'm taller."

"Oh, so now I'm pessimistic and short?" I mutter teasingly.

"Not that short." He smiles and opens the umbrella. "Jeez, this is tiny! There's barely enough room for the both of us."

"Well, I was planning to travel just by myself, so naturally, I brought along a tiny umbrella." We walk over and sit down on the rock as the rain starts to pick up a bit.

"I can't just let the rain pour down on you like that though, that wouldn't be very nice of me. Here." he lifts up the umbrella a bit. "Scooch in a bit closer." Hesitantly, I shuffle over a bit. "Closerrr." He jokes. I smile awkwardly.

"Uhm... you know what, I think I'm fine sitting here, I'm not getting that wet or anything..." I lie. My knees are getting wet and the water is running down into my sneakers. I shouldn't have worn shorts today. But still, I don't want to make things weird between us.

"C'mon Y/N, you're getting soaked." Spark pulls me in closer to him so that my head rests on his chest, almost so I can hear him breathe. His arm is casually draped around my waist in a half-hug. "There, nice and dry." He murmurs.

I tense up at first, then sigh and relax, letting my eyes close. "When are the rangers going to pick us up?" I ask sleepily.

"Mmm. Maybe tomorrow morning..."

The last thing I remember is his head leaning on mine.
