TBUP -6: Plan A

I'm still in our clinic's bed when I saw John dhel. I am still dizzy and it was like the whole world is spinning very very fast!

"John dhel." I said while in a state of doubt because of john dhel's existence by my side.

"Thank God you're already awake! May masakit ba sa'yo? Anong meron? Tell me!"

Bakit para siyang nagpapanic? Bakit parang ikamamatay niya kung may masamang mangyari sa akin? 'Di ba nga wala na kami?

Oh God! Baka naman nasa dreamland pa ako? Pasimple kong kinurot 'yung braso ko pero nasasaktan ako, meaning nasa reality ako. Eh bakit kasama ko si John dhel?

Gash! I'm a bigtime moron. 'Di ba ito ang gusto ko? john dhel is concern and he cares for me. But the main question is why? Bakit niya 'to ginagawa eh wala na nga kami? Na-realize niya kaya na ako talaga 'yung mahal niya at hindi 'yung patrice na 'yun?

"Why are you here?" Natanong ko na lang.

--John dhel's Pov-

Agad akong tumakbo papuntang clinic nang makita ko si Jared tangan-tangan si Lester na walang malay. Natakot talaga ako dahil baka kung anong nangyari kay Lester. Ayoko siyang mapahamak at masaktan.

Oo alam ko nang sasabihin niyong sinaktan ko na siya nung nakipagbreak ako sa kanya pero for Pete's sake! I don't really love that girl! Si Patrice na talaga ang mahal ko simula pa noong bata pa kami ni Jared. Kung hindi lang talaga ako na-torpe eh 'di sana hindi na umabot sa ganito na may ex akong umaasa sa akin.

But despite of her, being my ex, I still care for her. Syempre kasi kahit papano may pinagsamahan kami, kaibigan ko siya. At...

Her father commanded me to protect and take care of his daughter.

***FLASHBACK***

It was Saturday in the morning and someone called me. It was  from an unregistered number so I picked it up to know who is calling.

"Hello?" I said.

"John Dhel? John Dhel Epiales?" The speaker asked. The speaker was a man.

"Yes, speaking. Who's this?"

"Lester's father."

His father told me to go and meet him in a coffee shop, asap.

"Hindi na ako magpapaligoy-ligoy pa. I'll go straight to the point. I love my daughter; I can't be with her because of some important matters so I can't monitor her even though I really want to. So, as her boyfriend, I want you to guard my daughter, keep her safe. I want you to take care of her."

Medyo na-confuse ako sa sinabi ng Daddy ni Lester. Her Dad is wearing a suit, and it seems like he owns a bigtime company. Pero hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit sa akin siya nagpakilala at nagpakita at hindi sa sarili niyang anak. Lester told me that his "oh-so-good-for-nothing" father left them while she's still in her Mother's tummy.

At ngayon? Dito siya magpapakita sa akin? Really? Why?

"And please, don't ever mention to her that you met me. Magpapakita naman ako sa kanya eh, I just need some time. But for now, please do me a favor."

*end of flashback*

So ayun, napa-oo na lang ako. Ayoko namang maging balasubas at tanggihan ang Daddy niya. Kaya eto ako ngayon, inaalagaan pa rin siya.

But believe me, there's no strings attached.

Naka-recover naman na siya kaya bumalik na kami sa klase namin. Pero umalis ako ulit to check for Patrice nang biglang dumating si Jared.
