Kenzie's POV

What?

"I know your still mad at me but, I'm really sorry. I regret arguing with you and I miss you!" He said.

"Hmm. Apology accepted! But I can't be your partner." I told him.

"Why? You have no partner right?" He asked.

"I do have and it's Liam." I said to him.

"O-oh, I thought you promise that we will be together at junior prom back when we were a kid."

"Im sorry."

"No, no need to say sorry. What's important is were back... as friends." I didn't understand what he said at the end.

"Yeah.. as friends." I mumbled.

"Kenzie." A familiar voice said.

"Oh hey Liam!" I greeted him.

"You and Johnny can be partners if you want." He whispers.

"Really?! How about you?" I said in excitement.

"Don't worry about me, enjoy your prom night!" He smiled and walked away.

"Johnny!" I realized he also walk far from us.

As he looked back, "Yeah?"

I took a deep breath, "We can be partners."

"What?! How about Liam?" He asks.

"Well he was watching us. Not in a creepy way and he heard that you asked me."

"Doesn't he like you?" He asked.

"What?! No way! We're cousins." I laughed.

"So, the day when the incident happend, you guys are just hanging out?"

"Duh, ofc!' I said.

He smiled widely.

"Now that we're fine, let's dance?' he asked.

"Let's go!" I yell.
