It has been twenty years since Bryce saved me, eighteen years since the quads were born, sixteen years since the triplets were born, and fourteen years since the twins were born and the day before my thirty- eighth birthday. Life has been crazy, When the quads came into their powers, we had some mishaps and I wasn't sure Carter's eyebrows were ever gonna grow back. However, they are amazing kids. The triplets, Danny, Aden, and Lizzy were more of a handful. They love to play pranks on everyone. The twins Joey and Lynn are very quiet and reserved, I have no idea where they got that from, but they are the peacemakers. In a house with nine teenaged werewolves, there is never enough food or sleep, but Bryce and I are doing just fine. He has a few gray hairs now and I tease him about them constantly which he pretends to hate, but he knows I do it out of love. My kids are very musical, they can play piano and guitar and they all sing. They have the voices of angels. The whole pack just loves them. Adam will be Alpha when Bryce decides to retire. Ben is a regular visitor with his second chance mate, Lonna. She is so sweet and loves to spend time with the kids. My life has changed so much the last twenty years. Carter and Izzy have five kids, all girls, much to Carter's dismay, he wanted one boy, but is totally in love with his girls.
"Mom! Mom!" Adam calls from the living room. "In here, hun!" I call from the kitchen, cooking, again. "Mom, you will never guess what happened!" He says excitedly as he barrels into the kitchen. "What is it, Adam?" I can't help but laugh. "I was running through the woods and I saw Moria, kissing a boy!" Adam is almost out of breath. "She found her mate?" I ask. I can't believe it! My babies are growing up. "Wait, Adam, you didn't hurt him did you?" I know how protective the boys are in this family. "No, Mom, it was her mate, if it had been some random boy then, Hell yes, I'd beat his ass, but not her mate." Adam tells me with that look on his face. "Adam, where are they now?" I cock an eyebrow at him. He grins widely, "Their coming, I wouldn't leave until they did. He may be her mate, but he can't just get in her pants in the woods." "That's my boy." I wink at him. "What is going on in here?" Bryce booms as he comes into the kitchen. Before anyone can say a word, Moria comes in pulling a boy about her age by the hand.
"Mom, Dad, This is Ricky. Ricky, you know my parents." Moria says softly. "Alpha, Luna" Ricky bows. Before another word is said, the kitchen is full of all nine of my children and eight of them are staring at Ricky. Bryce growls and I laugh. "Bryce, stop that. It's is very nice to see you again, Ricky." He beams a smile at me and then looks around him and suddenly looks very worried. All my boys are larger than the normal boy because they have Alpha blood running through their veins, but my girls are all built like me, short and tiny. Their wolves, on the other hand, are impressive and I am proud of that. They are all well-trained warriors that was important to me. They are all growling at poor Ricky, who I know as one of our best pack warriors, outside of our family. "OK, that is enough. Ricky is Moria's mate. He is a strong warrior and well respected in our pack. He also knows that if he mistreats our little Moria, that not only will she hurt him in unimaginable ways, that I will staple his dick to his forehead, so there is no need for all the growling around here." I wink at Moria who giggles. "Thanks, Mom. Ricky is a great guy and I do love him already."
"I love her, and I will do whatever I can to make sure she is the happiest wolf on the face of the earth. I really couldn't have asked for a more perfect mate or stronger woman." Ricky says with a serious face. "Well, it's settled then, welcome to the family, Ricky." Bryce beams with a slap to the back of Ricky, who nears falls over. This makes everyone laugh. I smile and leave them to their conversation. As I step outside, a tear falls from my eye.
"What is wrong, little one?" Bryce asks as he pulls me into his arms. I didn't even hear him come outside. "They are growing up and becoming their own people. I am happy, but also, I feel like I am losing a part of myself. Soon they will all have mates and families of their own. Then what am I to do? They won't need me anymore. Then, Adam and his mate will take over the pack and then the even the pack won't need me." I sniffle and Bryce turns me to face him. "I will always need you, Little one, you are my mate, my wife, my world. The kids will always need you because you are their mother and they will still need your advice and guidance. No matter how old they are or where life takes them, that will never change. You have been Luna for twenty years and have done so much for this pack, our family, and me that we would all be lost without you. Never fear, my Love, we will always need you." He says with a kiss that makes the rest of the world melt away. "Thank you, Bryce. I love you so much my Big bad wolf." He then sweeps me up into his arms and carries me off into the woods where we spend the afternoon running in wolf form. My world has come full circle and I am happy. Here, with my family, my home, my pack, my mate. I guess maybe there isn't a happy ever after, but this is damn close.
