Students were buzzing in the halls of Northview High School as the first day of school was starting and summer in the past. The same old cliques started to form again, as if nothing had changed from last year. The Nerds were grouped close to the side of the school near the benches that few use at lunch. The Skaters, punks, Goths, and over all odd teenagers were located at the other side of the school from the nerds were trees shadowed them it seemed. The pot heads, yes I know it has its own category, and school delinquents were barely even seen as they stayed in the parking lot till the last moment. Then of course you had the clique I seemed to be part of, the Popular Group. Which held the cheerleaders, dance team, and sport jocks. The most feared and wanted clique in high School history, where if you weren’t a part of it you were nothing in high school. We seemed to always be located at the front of the high school, the entrance, on the steps to enter.
I sat on one of the middle steps in a designer black leather mini skirt and silk pink long sleeve blouse with color matching high heel boots that went to my knee as the others talked about their summer vacation and the wonderful places they seemed to have gone to. Oh did I forget to mention that most everyone in the Popular Group was pretty fricken rich it wasn’t even funny. Though of course my story was what everyone really wanted to hear since I am Queen Bee here. When I told them what I had done over the summer no one spoke a word till I was done and then that was them telling me how lucky I was an amazing it sounded.
Over the summer I was flown to France where I stayed manly in Paris in a beautiful penthouse that had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, especially when the sun set. Of course my parents didn’t come on the same trip as they were taking their own trip to Italy in a summer cottage we own there. My endless days and nights were filled with shopping, parties where there were the hottest guys you will ever meet, and so on. I told them it defiantly was a trip I won’t ever forget but I wasn’t going into the details. Which to them, all of them might I add, just meant that I partied a little too hard with a lot of guys, if you get my drift of course. My summer sounded like the time of a life to all of them, some traveling just to different states, taking cruises and a few actually going out of the country but since I was queen bee mine was just better.
My summer sounded beautiful, like a fantasy. Well of course it was all completely and utterly lies! I’ve never been to France nor will I ever probably be able to go. Hell I couldn’t even travel out of the state. Way you might ask? I was poor. I had no money ever and when I did that had to go to my family.
Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Apollo Luna Knight, my parents were Greek and stayed Greek, or to the student at Northview Sunny Knight. I was of course, like I said, Queen Bee at this school since I transferred here the beginning of last year which now I’m a junior. I wasn’t a cheerleader and on my life would never be. I was instead the captain of our Dance Team for dancing was my passion. It didn’t matter who you were or how rich you were, dancing was dancing. I produced lies like what I did over the summer all sometimes but the fact of the matter was I didn’t want them to know my real home life. These people I might call my friends but they truly weren’t my friends. At all!
I have eight, I mean seven brothers that I live with and no sisters. Yeah it could be quite interesting sometimes but I loved them and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
It might seem petty to you or anyone else that I lie to what it might seem for me to stay on top but if they really knew what really went on in my life well let’s just say I don’t want that to happen.
“Sunny I wish I could had a life like yours,” Sara Moore, head cheerleader, gushed flipping her bleach blonde hair to the side with her arm around her player boyfriend, Trent Davis, main kicker on the football team.
Hunny bunny you couldn’t handle living my actual life I thought with a smirk.
“Come on my life isn’t that great,” I simply stated looking at my fingernails sighing.
“Oh Please,” she said laughing, “Come on Trent, walk me to my locker.”
“I’ll be there in a second babe,” he said giving her one of his to die for smiles making her blush as her and a few other cheerleaders walk into the school leaving me with the football and some of the hockey team. In the mornings Cheerleaders follow Sara to her locker like puppets or dogs following there master. The girls and few guys in dance team are usually spread around the school.
Trent and Northviews Quarterback, Gage Reid, turned their heads toward me, looking me up and down when they thought I wasn’t looking. Trent’s out of lust, and Gage’s out of kindness.
“So Sunny you coming to the party tonight,” Gage asked looking down on me as I was both sitting and him reaching the height of 6’0? The famous back to school party was the biggest party that is ever thrown pretty much. It’s the only party were EVERYONE at Northview is invited. Gage’s parents own their own private beach house.
“Well of course, It’s not a party if Sunny Knight isn’t there,” I smirked picking my purse up, bout to head in. Trent held out his hand and I grabbed on as he pulled me up from the stairs. Instead of just pulling me up and setting me down, he pulls me tightly into him were his hands stop on my butt.
“Uh you can let go now hunny,” I said. Instead he squeezes my ass while smirking down at me. I probably forgot to mention I’m only 5’2.
“Dude let her go,” Gage tells him getting pissed for the fact he has a girlfriend. He continues to hold me and looks sharply into my eyes.
“Looks like the Queen Bee Slut works fast,” a deep voice sneered as Trent FINALLY released me. I turned my head toward the new voice and was met with Aiden Pierce eyes glaring at me with his sister Ariel and his best friend Spencer behind him.
Aiden Pierce, sexiest guy at this school with his deep sea blue eyes that made any girl want to swim in, his tussled golden brown hair that appeared to be so soft, and let’s not forget his amazing abs. He had a perfect body that would make any girl fall for and even a few guys.
Spencer was also quite hot with his perfectly put golden bleach blond hair and light blue eyes. I’ve heard from a few of the girls that he too has a perfect body but something doesn’t seem right about him to me.
So you might wonder what’s wrong with them, not being with the ‘Popular group’. Delinquents! I haven’t been here long but I already know the what’s about this place and these two have been to juvie more than a few times, though last I heard they were in jail over the summer. I guess there out now.
The slut comment should hurt and in a way deep down it does but I know that’s what a lot of people think of me, along with being a bitch, but in a way I am. I’m not proud of it but I’m a slut more then they think.
“Looks like someone was let out a little too early, I don’t see why they don’t just lock you up in prison and throw away the key,” I barked out glaring at him turning on my heels and walking into the school annoyed and fuming.
