Students seemed to blur by without so much of notice from me. As if to say that everyone was moving through the halls at a fast spead but I was in normal or slow motion.  My first 2 blocks, Pre AP Pre Cal and AP English, passed without much thought. Physically I was here but mentally I was in a different place. Like always I had to many other things on my mind. To much to focus on anything else that never seemed to matter.

Dance.

Music.

Family.

The Future

And Aiden

Let me just clarify that the ONLY reason for Aiden to be on my mind was he was so far in both my classes. I didn’t even know how him and Spencer managed to get into the classes being as they were both AP but if I think about it I bet people think that about me as well. Though that generally wouldn’t give someone the need or desire to think about someone but it didn’t help Aiden sat behind me in both classes. The only thing I could comprehend in those 3 hours of class was the piercing glare he was burning into the back of my head which never seemed to stop or move away.

Spencer who sat next to him again in both classes at first tried to get Aiden’s attention with hushed whispers but every time failed as if glaring at me was the most important thing in the world. Maybe he thought if he glared hard enough I would suddenly combust into flames and be sent to the fiery pits of hell where he thought I belonged. Lovely isn’t it but alas of course it didn’t happen since the fact Human combustion was impossible. Or so they say.

It was first lunch already and I was seated with many of the other popular students on top of the stage at the front of the cafeteria. I was mainly seated with seniors but the few juniors and sophomores were present. Freshmen weren’t aloud, even if they were high up in ranks in their grade. They simply had no business trying to act like one of us when they were technically just out of middle school. I mean there still babies pretty much, even if some of the girls were already dressing like hookers.

The stage is what people that weren’t popular like to call No Man’s land. I heard that in the past it was used for just seniors but slowly was changed for just the popular group. It was social suicide for someone to try and sit on the stage that wasn’t either invited or already popular. Though, since I have been at this school I have never seen someone try but from what I heard the last person that did transferred schools.

To say that I think that was in any form called for would be like saying cheesy roll-ups from taco bell were nasty. Which they were Heaven’s food must I say. Side note before I continue with my high school drama I mean story, Taco Bell was an addiction I couldn’t stop.

I found my eyes wondering around the cafeteria, watching the other students live their life before returning back to the classrooms. Smiling. Laughing. Enjoying themselves. Something I was to stupid to do with fear what could happen if the truth of my real life came out. I sit here as the others found fault in anyone that wasn’t part of this clique. They mocked everyone who wasn’t just like them. Sometimes I laughed not really paying them any attention. Sometimes laughing seemed to be the only I could do. Just two years of this life and I’m through with this drama filled high school. Two years and I was out of this hell hole. Just two years.

“A lot on your mind?” I look over to my right to see Gage watching me as if he knew exactly what I was thinking about. His deep hazel eyes seemed to pierce mine as his eyes met my icy blue eyes, holding me there but for a second before I turned back to the cafeteria. Gage was the only person in this snotty group that was actually a sweetheart. You would never see him bullying another student or even mocking them with his friends. Most the time if people were doing that around him he’d make them stop. Being quarterback and captain of the football team, everyone listened. Or at least they listened until he wasn’t around because let’s face it bullying will always happen. It’s one of those things that people can try all they want to never happen but somehow and in some way it will.

“Not really,” I replied with no hint of emotion.

“Don’t over think what Aiden said. We both know that’s not even close to being true,” I heard him say as I spot Aiden with Spencer in the back of the lunch room, laughing with each other. As my eyes glance over at Gage I’m confused by a knowing glint in his eyes, smile full blown on his face.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Sure you don’t Sunny. Lying to yourself only works for a little before it starts to consume you,” he told me getting up from the table. The others looked at him oddly, Lunch had just begun and Gage was already leaving. Generally the only reason to leave was to return the tray and half the time everyone just leaves theirs on the stage.

“Gagey where are you going,” Amber, a VERY bitchy cheerleader, asked in a high pitched whiny voice. Amber Maddison with her noticeable dyed blonde hair wasn’t queen bee of the school but she is the biggest bitch and slut here. Though asking most students here they will say I have the spot for biggest slut in the bag but we knew it was Amber.

“Girlfriend.”

Silence rang through our table, Ambers face started to turn red with anger as her green eyes glared daggers at Gage. The thing about Gage was that he didn’t date much and the only girl he did was Amber. I have no clue why Gage decided to date her but he did. For a week. Even with dating Gage, the guy any girl would kill to date she still continued to sleep around with other people. Any girl to date Gage would be destroyed by Amber. Whoever it was had a lot of guts.

“Who,” Amber demanded staring at him than out to the lunch room. In a flash he was before her and slammed his hands down, hard making the thunderous boom, on the table.

“You do anything to her and I’ll destroy you.” The threat hung in the air with silence as Gage clenched his fists around the table. Knowing that he must really care for this girl to get mean, something not in this vocabulary, I thought it was my time to say something. He’s threat was one thing but mine would be law. Unless she was stupid enough to challenge my authority.

“Actually Amber,” Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked from me to Amber to Gage. Some in confusion. Some in horror. “You or anyone else does anything will have to deal with me. And trust me you don’t want that to happen.”

With that Amber and her pose left the stage and the lunchroom , fuming and scared. It’s all pretty pathetic really, the whole high school drama, if a guy don’t like you get over it. Can’t really say much since I’ve never even dated before Just slept with half the school or at least that’s what gets spread around the school. It’s really amusing with the fact I haven’t had my first kiss.  I mean come on with 7 brothers it’s a little hard to actually get a boyfriend. Does it matter? Not really, high school romance most the time doesn’t last. Plus high school guys want only one thing and that’s sex.

After Amber had left I continued to eat what little I had on my plate. Gage stood front right, shocked, he tried to form words but nothing would vocalize. He was at a total loss for words. Usually I wouldn’t interfere with the dramas of this school.

“You shouldn’t keep a lady waiting,” I said not matching his eyes as I picked up an apple. The sounds of his footsteps rush down the stage echoed loud.

Curiosity getting the best of me I locked my eyes on Gage’s figure walking down the lunchroom. To say people weren’t watching would be an understatement, their eyes never left his form. Couldn’t blame them since I was being just as nosey.

After what seems like a life time he finally stopped in front of a table located in the back. The Scene table. A beautiful petite girl that was probably just two inches taller than me stood up in front of Gage. Her bleached blonde hair flowed to her mid waist with light pink streaks covering the top layer of her hair. Ocean blue eyes popped by the help of the dark midnight black eyeliner and mascara surrounding her eye. Dressed in a grey and ivory long sleeve shirt features a front screen of a tattooed teddy bear with black skinny’s that were ripped all over finished by neon pink converse.

This girl was Gage’s girlfriend. This girl was Aiden’s little sister, Arial Pierce.

Gage started something that would change this school. He started a revolution that wouldn’t stop.

I didn’t realize that by this simple change my whole world would suddenly become different. This was just the beginning.  \

***Ok so i put Reid as Ambers last name which was a misake for the fact that its actually Gage's last name....so if her picture says reid i'm sorry, her last name in my story is Maddison***
