That's how every story with a good ending goes, right? But this story is far from a good ending, it's not your typical superhero story. It was all different. We weren't billionaires or served in the USA army or trained assassins with a dark past, we were just kids, trying to learn health in our charter middle school. It was your typical sunny day. It was boiling hot in our classroom, feeling like an ice cream cone melting on a hot sticky day. I was so bored, I just wanted summer vacation to come all ready. The kid next to me Erick was falling asleep, trying to look like he's writing, God I hate that kid just want to be from the joker from the dark knight and put a pencil through his head. I sighed as I copied down the notes on the smart board, I looked at the broken clock, I wished it worked. Coach Mapp, our health teacher was droning on and on about the dangers of tobacco, like I didn't know about this already. But then something quite disturbing that was out of the ordinary. We heard something crash hard on the ground, sounding like a meteorite hit the earth. Erick woke up, looking around as if nothing had happened. Coach Mapp stopped talking. I heard my heart beating in my ears. Coach Mapp opened the door of our classroom out of curiosity. "Get in the back of the room" he said and that sent shivers down my spine. The kids went to the back without hesitation. I saw some of the girls with tears in there eyes. I don't blame them for being scared. I thought my heart was beating out of my chest. I saw Riley and she came over to me and put her arms around me and started crying and she said the 5 words I didn't want to hear right now. "Are we going to die?"she said. The words rung through my head. "Are we going to die" I was afraid that we were. He went outside and what happened next made me scream. I saw Coach Mapp fly back into the wall. The desk Falls on him. The kids looked terrified, some of them was shutting there eyes closed, hoping it was just a dream. I didn't blame them. Then the lights went out. Only the light from outside filled the room. Then I saw something came into the room and I didn't breathe. There was a figure who entered the room. It was wearing a dark gray hoody, almost black, it dragged behind him. He turned to us and I froze, it felt like time stopped. I heard kids crying. But I just looked at him. He had no face, it was all black except for two dots. He wasn't human, and that scared me the most. "Don't be afraid children" it said in a demonic tone. I felt my stomach drop as he came a little closer, but the thing was he was floating, he was up in the air now, I felt like I couldn't breath. This was like out of a marvel comic book. "Please sit down" it said and put out his gloved hand and all the seats came out. I heard Tatyana scream. "Relax, I won't hurt you, all I'll do is make you stronger..." and I heard a soft chuckle. The kids obeyed out of fear but I was frozen to the wall. The kids looked at me and so did he. "W-who are you" I said, trying to sound brave. "You'll find out soon enough" he said. I gulped that lump in my throat and went to my seat and sat down. "Good girl" I heard him say and I shivered. Then he held out his hand and I felt something squeeze me. It was rope tying me to the chair. I started trying to squirm out of it but it pulled harder, squeezing me till I can hardly breath. I looked around and saw the same thing happened with everyone. I looked at him and he took out a black box from his hoodie. He opened it. "It's time for my children to RISE" he said and took out a needle.
