THE TRILOGY

The needle held a neon orange liquid, it glowed. He then looked past me. "Mateo Acevado" he said. Mateo tried to move but he couldn't. The man approached him and put Mateos head to the side, showing his neck. Then he punctured the needle into Mateos neck. Screams filled the room. I wanted to cover my ears, to squeeze my eyes shut and think "snap back into reality Chelsea, it's just a dream" but I sadly knew that this was really happening. I saw him take it out and some orange liquid still was dripping from where he put the needle. The rope came off Mateo and he fell on his knees. His face contorted in a painful expression. Then something heart stopping but scary happened. Mateos brown hair started turning a bright orange. His eye changed from brown to red and his sclera turned orange. Then his body turned into flames but he didn't flinch. Some of the kids gasped, screamed but I was staring at amazement. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!" Mateo screamed as his eyes had fire flaming from it. "My Firefox boy, I have freed your power, you must rise..." And then Mateo held his stomach and something jumped out. It looked like some kind of animal, like a fox? Flames danced around it, it has red and orange fur that glowed, fire came out of its eyes and it looked at Mateo. "Your Firefox, summon him anytime" the shadow man said. Mateos body was still burning and then the fox went inside Mateo again and Mateos flames stopped. He turned back to normal but there was still an orange streak in his hair. "My first mutant, the first part of the trilogy." The trilogy I pondered, what's "the trilogy?" Then he took out a needle with a light pink clear liquid. "Chelsea, the rebel" he said. I looked at him, my heat was racing, it was hurting my eardrums, I had a migraine. He took out my left hand. He punctured it into my hand and I winced, I felt the thick liquid go into me. I felt a little woozy. My vision turned pink and yellow. I heard whispers but it wasn't my classmates. "Tick tock, there goes the clock" I heard. I looked at the clock and it was moving counterclockwise. Then he took out the needle softly and my vision turned back. I looked at the clock. It was still broken. The ropes came off and I fell face first. I felt weak. My legs and arms gave out completely, I felt him pull me by the arm up. I lean on the desk and finally felt well to stand. "My child stick your hand towards him" he said, pointing to Coach. I gulped and held out my hand. I felt power come through me like a rush of adrenaline or energy. Coach went back into the smart board, electrical shocks going into his body, making him yell. I stare in shock. I did this, no, no god please, this has to be a dream. "This is not a dream darling" he said, I looked at him. He read my mind, I looked at my hands. I was a mutant now. "Good girl, now do one more thing for me sweetheart, pull him towards you..." I heard him chuckle darkly. I gulped, held out my hand. Better his life then mine I thought, which I regret thinking. I held out my hand and made my hand go in a pulling motion. All I knew was that his body came towards me. I ducked and he went right into the wall. He fell face first and blood came from his body. I surely killed him. Some of the walls debris fell on him. "Good, he's out of the way, we can proceed" he said. The kids looked at me, not in fear because I'm not there enemy, but I don't blame if after all of this, that we don't trust each other. I looked at him. He had so much to live for, his two daughters and wife and now a twelve year old girl took his life away. "Now my child, take out your opposite hand and scream FREEZE. I gulped, I didn't want to hurt anyone but I had too. I yelled freeze and closed my eyes. All I heard was a painful silence. I opened my eyes. I heard no breathing and everyone was frozen. I went up to Mateo and tapped his shoulder but he didn't move nor blink. "You have froze time" I heard the demonic voice from behind. I turn around. "What are you doing to us?"I asked. "Making you stronger, it's a gift actually" he replied. "How are you not frozen?" I asked. "You must have figured out I'm not mortal" he said. "What are you?" I asked. "An Allie" he said. He then circled me as I tried to understand that I'm messing with the space time continuum, something that if it's messed with badly can destroy the earth. "You have time travel my dear, an incredible gift to travel into history or the far away future, or even travel into photos to that certain event" he said. "How do I use it?" I asked out of curiosity. Move your left hand to the right like your unlocking a door and you will move into the future, if you do it the other way backwards, past, to go through a photo, focus on it" he said. "Now unfreeze time" he said. "Unfreeze" I whisper and I hear everyone breath, turning there heads, crying, Mateo was standing in the front, his arms crossed. I joined him. "ITS ALMOST COMPLETE, THE TRILOGY WILL RISE!" He said. I was still pondering about that. Then he took out a needle with yellow liquid. "Elijah Bonilla" he said. "Here" he said, thinking there's no point in hiding. He moved Elijah's neck to the side and pushed it in. He let out a wince, he curled his fingers and squeezed, his knuckles turning white. Then something really strange, out of all of this happened. His skin started moving in waves. He looked down at his skin and his eyes went wide. Then it stopped and the straps came off him. He landed on the floor, the palm of his hand catching him. Then his blonde curls turned a deep red color, his skin started transforming into blue, his iris went completely black and his sclera turned yellow, it's like he was an alien. His shirt came off like it was water. I shut my eyes. Then I hear all my classmates gasp, I hear Erick's hysterical laughter. I open my eyes and see it. His pants came off but here's the weird thing about it. No private part like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?????!!!!! Elijah looked at himself and his face was like WHAT THE FREAKIN HELL. "Don't worry Eli, you'll get it all back, this is just part of your power my shifter" he said. Jordan died laughing. "Now look into Mateos eyes" Elijah gulped and turned to him and looked directly into his eyes. Then something incredible happened. His hair turned from dark red curls to dark straight brown. His body changed to being skinner and smaller in height. An orange streak came through his hair. His face changed to look like Mateo, He was Mateo I realized. He was a shapeshifter and looked just like a boy version of mystique in shifter form. "Am I Mateo" Elijah said in Mateos voice. "Your a shapeshifter, can turn into any person, animal or object, also your skills of acrobatics have grown, you are more flexible" he said. "Now think of your human self" the shadow guy said. Elijah thought and he turned back. Elijah stood right next to me. "ITS COMPLETE, THE TRILOGY PROPHECY IS NOW IN ORDER, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS ASSEMBLE THE TRIANGLE." He yelled. "What the hell is going on" Mateo whispered in my ear. He took out a orange pyramid that glowed from his robe. He opened it like flower petals and three crystals emerged. One was orange spelling fire on it. A pink crystal spelled time and a yellow one was shifter. He threw them in the air and I felt one of the crystals aiming towards my heart and it pierced it. I winced. I looked at Mateo and Elijah as they screamed as one of the crystals went each into them. I felt it go in and I went to the floor. All that filled my ears was the sound of a clock ticking. Mateo was on fire and Elijah's skin moved in rapid waves. Then his hand went up and we did in the air. Then the pyramid closed and we fell. The impact hit my nose. I went on my back. "Now you three are a trilogy, you are linked too each other" he said. I looked at them. We are the trilogy. We held hands and power beam came up from us and went right through the roof of the school. We let go and I felt exhausted. We are the linked...ONE UNITED...
