Celine
I woke up in my bed with Harry and Liana sitting with me. Liana was on her phone and Harry was cuddled against my side, watching TV. I lifted my hand to drag it across my face, feeling it wet.
"Hey."
My eyes found Harry's and he smiled. I wanted to smile back at him then remembered I still had to tell him about the chemo.
"What time is it?" I asked, sitting up.
"Only eight." Liana smirked at me.
"PM?" My eyes widened.
"You slept a long time." Harry nodded. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I have a headache." I said, noting the throb at the back of my head. "And my throat hurts." I muttered, looking at Liana. "Thanks for picking me up." I said.
"You remember that?" She chuckled.
"Yeah, when I got off the phone with you I got out of the drivers side and tried to go around the car but I was so tired." I let out a light chuckle.
"Your other treatments never affected you like that." Liana said, shaking her head. I wet my lips and nodded.
"Would you give us a minute, Liana?" Harry asked, sitting up. She glanced between us and nodded, excusing herself. As the door closed Harry reached out to cup my jaw. "I love you, Celine."
I leaned forward to close the space between us.
"They added these chemicals to my blood cleanser." I told him, closing my eyes and leaning my head on his shoulder. "They're supposed to find the blood infection and disable it's reproduction."
"That's great, why didn't they do that in the first place?" He asked, rubbing my back.
"Because, Harry, it's chemotherapy." I muttered, not wanting to see his face.
"Wait," He pulled away. "Wait."
I looked away and wet my lips.
"Is it dangerous?"
"It has a few side effects, but the chemicals they added aren't as severe as regular chemo." I explained.
His eyes flew around the room like he was trying to chase answers to all of his questions. They finally found my eyes and his face softened. "I'm so sorry, my love." He pulled me in his lap and hugged me to his chest. "You don't have to go through this alone; I'm gonna be right here, okay?"
I nodded, trying to ignore the stinging behind my eyelids.
"We should tell your family." He said.
"Yeah," I agreed.
Somehow, I wasn't shocked that my mom hated the idea of chemotherapy, just as she hated the idea of dialysis, but knowing that it'd help she's accepting it.
After my second treatment there was already a change in my toxicity. Dr, Beaufort predicted that after a month it'd be cut in half.
Harry had to leave after the week he spent with me to start filming his movie, so I decided to meet up with Justin in LA.
"I still feel like I'm intruding." I shook my head, letting him take my luggage.
"Shut up, this house is huge." He shook his blonde shaved head, walking in front of me. "What time do you have to be in town?" He asked.
"Five." I said, checking the time. We still had three hours.
"Okay, you want to change then meet me down stairs?" He asked.
"Sounds good." I nodded, walking in the room he had shown to be mine for my stay. After changing into some grey cut off yoga pants and a black crop top. I pulled my hair up as I jogged down the stairs to his home studio. "I need to buy a house." I grinned, looking around the basement.
"You don't have your own house?" Justin asked, walking away from the wall of speakers.
"No." I sighed.
"This neighborhood is nice." He said, raising his eyebrows at me.
"Not that I wouldn't enjoy living so close to you..." I chuckled. "I'd have to talk to Harry about getting a place together or near him." I shrugged, stretching my shoulders out.
"How are you guys?" He asked.
"We're great." I smiled at the thought of him in his wardrobe for the movie.
"Sounds like things are getting serious." Music started playing quietly, as he swung his arms out.
I just smiled at his reflection. "Don't start teasing me now." I shook my head. He lifted his hands in surrender. I rolled my eyes and he made a whipping sound. "So who's your new girlfriend?" I asked, smirking. "The one after Selena but before Hailey. Not the Kardashian, the model." I teased, making us both laugh.
"Just cause you have beef with the Kardashians..." He said, making me gasp.
"I do not!" I protested.
"What girl doesn't hate her boyfriends ex?" He asked.
"This girl. I happen to love Taylor Swift. As for Kendall," I muttered, rolling my eyes. "I don't know her well enough."
After stretching Justin helped me go over the fundamentals of what he was going to be teaching me. After that I drove into the city for my radio interview.
I parked and left my parking slip in the window. I locked it and walked down the street towards the building. I smirked at a few photographers I saw and made my way up to the building. After getting myself checked in I was escorted up to the recording studio.
"Evening, I'm so glad you could make it!" Fallon told me.
"I wouldn't miss it! I love your interviews." I chuckled, hugging him.
"That's so sweet, you can sit right over there and I'll have Leo get your headset on." He pointed to a guy in the corner of the room. I took my seat and put my headphones on and let him set up the mic.
"Okay live in five, four, three, two..." Somebody said, and pointed to Fallon.
"Good afternoon Los Angeles, it's your new evening host Fallon Hayes with the stunning Celine Reid." He introduced.
"Good evening LA, I hope y'all are well." I greeted into my mic.
"You're so sweet." Fallon shook his head. "You've gotta be my favorite celebrity, and I'm not just saying that because my daughter adores you."
"Does she?" I gasped. "I heard she had her fifth birthday the other day, Happy Birthday to her." I smiled. "I'll have to get her a gift."
"She's here. Getting to meet you would be enough." He nodded.
"I'd love to." I nodded, crossing my legs.
"So what brings you to LA this week?" He asked, lifting his arms.
"I'm actually staying with my friend Justin for the week." I said.
"Bieber?" Fallon asked with a laugh, trying to be humorous.
"Yes." I nodded.
"Seriously?" He chuckled.
"Yeah," I laughed with him. "He agreed to help me with my dancing and hit me up a while back." I nodded.
"I was joking, that's crazy." He shook his head. "So Harry's okay with you staying at another guys house?" He asked, taking me back for a moment. Of course Harry and I have been photographed together but we hadn't officially made it public.
"Our relationship is built on trust." I nodded. "He's got nothing to worry about, Justin is like an annoying big brother." I grinned, knowing I'd be hearing from Justin and Harry after this.
