Jax was walking down the hall of the rehab center and smiled when he saw Dallas walking with an aids assistance, it had been about six weeks since she was admitted to the rehab and her recovery was improving immensely
"Looking good babe" Jax said walking next to her
"Chuck wanted one more lap before i went home" Dallas smiled
"She's doing great Jax, just keep up with her exercises at home alright?" Chuck said
"Oh don't you worry, she'll be busy at home" Jax said
"Let's turn back around and get those discharge papers" Chuck said
"You look nice Jax, please tell me there's no welcome home party?" Dallas said
"No darlin', I'm taking you out to dinner" Jax smiled
"You, bad boy Jackson Teller is taking me out to dinner? Are you feeling sick?" Dallas asked Jax smiled back at her
"No, definitely not sick, just wanted to do something nice for my girl" Jax said as they entered her room
"Dallas I'll send Maggie down with your papers if you need anything please call" Chuck said hugging her
"Thank you for everything Chuck" Dallas said
Jax stuck his hand out and Chuck pulled him in for a hug
"She's been craving buffalo wings" Chuck whispered. The whole time Dallas had been in the rehab Chuck would find out what she was craving and call Jax and give him a heads up so he would bring Dallas what she wanted
Jax helped Dallas in the truck and walked around to the other side
"Wanna tell me where we are going?" Dallas asked
"To go get wings, but we're gonna bring them home so you don't have to get in and out of the truck" Jax said Dallas smiled
"You know i found out your little sneaky shit with Chuck a few weeks ago, I just want to sit on the couch and pig out. Can we stop by my place? I've got some chips above the fridge id like to eat" Dallas said
Shit Jax forgot to tell her
"So there's a small problem with that" Jax said
"What?" Dallas asked
"I may have moved all of your things to my place" Jax said
"Seriously? I had things I didn't want anyone to see, cmon Jax really?" Dallas asked
"I did it a few weeks ago, and your landlord stopped by while I was grabbing a few things and he was going to raise your rent and with no job you cant afford it anymore anyway" Jax said
"Your a jerk, so now on top of the wings I need chips and chocolate ice cream" Dallas said
Jax smirked knowing that this was going to be an interesting pregnancy with Dallas
After arriving at Jax's house he helped Dallas out of the truck and inside the house before going back outside to get thier food, he found Dallas standing at the mantle looking at pictures
"You know I never noticed that every single picture up here is of me, your a creep Jax" Dallas said
"What can I say I've had my eyes set on you since the beginning but I needed to pull my head out of my ass" Jax said setting thier dinner down on the coffee table
"Your so gay. Why didn't I notice until now? Did you change something?" Dallas asked
"No babe you just never were in my house sober enough to pay attention" Jax said walking over and standing next to her
"Soon all of my pictures will be replaced" Dallas said Jax threw his arm around her shoulder
"Yea, with baby pictures" Jax smiled
"I still can't believe we're having a kid together" Dallas laughed
"Better believe it Dal, cause it's growing in there and my son is going to be just like me" Jax said
"God help us all if this kid is anything like you, besides what if it's a girl?" Dallas asked
"There's no chance there's a girl in there. It's a boy I know it" Jax said kissing her temple
"Guess we'll find out in a few weeks, but for now I'm going to stuff the shit out of my face and you better not stop me" Dallas said sitting down at the coffee table and opening the bag and pulling all the contents out
Dallas woke up alone, it felt weird cuddling Jax like she was last night, yeah it had been a few weeks since they started seeing eachother but she still saw him as her best friend she could smell a faint smell of coffee brewing she slid out of bed and threw on one of Jax's Samcro shirts and walked down the hall towards the kitchen she leaned up against the door frame to see Jax standing at the stove in his sweats barely hanging on his hips flipping pancakes chocolate chip pancakes Dallas's favorite since she was a kid
"Those better be as good as Gemma's" Dallas smiled Jax turned around
"She came and made the batter I'm just cooking them" Jax smiled
"Just like you used to" Dallas said sitting down at the table.
When they were kids and Dallas would want pancakes Gemma would always make the batter and Jax would cook them it was a Sunday morning tradition they established many years ago
"Don't worry darlin' they will be good" Jax said pulling some bacon out of the oven
"We better keep up these traditions for the kid, no matter what happens" Dallas said
"Of course we will. And we will keep our tradition at Christmas too" Jax said looking over his shoulder
Every Christmas Eve Gemma would throw a huge family dinner and after all the adults left they were allowed to open one present each of Gemma's choice, most years it was brand new pajamas to wear to bed but as they got older they would get matching shirts or leather jackets and once the morning came they always had monkey bread before presents.
"Christmas will be the best especially Gemma's stuffed shells" Dallas said
"Let me guess. I'll be calling my mom to make you stuffed shells this week?" Jax laughed
"It could be a strong possibility" Dallas laughed
Jax made Dallas plate for her and placed it in front of her with a glass of orange juice after he made his own he sat across from her at the head of thier small kitchen table
"Thank you" Dallas mumbled
"Anything for you darlin' and my son of course" Jax said shoving more pancakes in his mouth
"Jax what if things don't work out between us?" Dallas asked
Jax looked up "Dallas I've know you for years, I think I can handle this, us. There isn't a single thing I dont know about you"
"Yeah I guess your right, I just... I know how you get side tracked on runs and I dont know if I could handle knowing that your sleeping with someone else" Dallas said
"Babe. I've waited almost my whole life for you and now that I have you I wouldn't jeopardize us for a croweater" Jax smiled
"Ok. I mean I know this is going all ass backwards right now. Not exactly how I mapped out the rest of my life ya know" Dallas said as she stood up and placed her dish in the sink
"Dallas, listen this wasn't what I was expecting either but I wouldn't change it for the world, I don't have to learn anyone new, thier quirks and pet peeves. I already know yours which helps the situation better and the love I have for you is something ive been experiencing my entire life" Jax said walking over to Dallas and placing his hands on her face and kissing her softly
"Let's hope your right" Dallas said slipping out of Jax's grip and walking away
This was more of a filler chapter, seems Dallas is having doubts about her relationship with Jax. What do you think? Comment and vote please!! 💙
