(Y/n)'s POV
~Hmm, which house could he be in?~ I thought while walking around the victim's neighborhood.
"Hey, have you seen his house, yet?" I asked irritated slightly that we're taking forever.
"I think so, that house looks odd, like it's surrounded by some sort of purplish barrier..." (G/n) trailed off into thought.
"Let's go see if we can break through it!" I exclaimed and ran over to a one story house with a gray color and blue door and window frames.
The barrier was pulsing as we got close it it. I wonder if this is the dark gang's doing...
"Hmm, this doesn't seem breakable..." my partner said knocking on the glass.
"Come on if it's glass then I can definitely break that!" I smirked and backed up with golden mist surrounding me.
I came out of the mist with black and gold armor holding two grey swords with poisonous black ends. I pulled my right arm back and stricked at the glass.
Right after I did that it started radiating with magic and pushed me back.
"*cough* I made a crack in it!" I proudly stated. Then wheezed afterwards.
"Hey are you alright?" My friend asked concerned.
"I-I think the dark magic went into my lungs..." I slowly said.
Everything was slowly turning black. "(Y/n)! Hey! Stay with me! Don't you dare pass out we're almost done with the mission!" He panicked.
"*cough* I'm alright...I just need medicine, I'm not dead yet, don't need to worry!" I reassured him.
"You scared me! Don't you look like that again!" He snapped at me.
Which left me startled, "I'm sorry."
"*sigh* let's just keep looking around." He walked off around the house and I followed him until I saw a trail of blood leading into the forest.
"(G/n) come over here! I found something." I called over (G/n)-san.
"I wonder if this leads us to them." He walked along the trail with me following him and stopped at a weird stone statue.
"This looks like a door to their base, you wanna do the honors?" He asked.
"Hell yeah!" I smiled big while taking a ball on a chain out of my backpack, and swung it around until it gained enough momentum to break the statue covering the entrance to the dark guild.
"Help! Anyone!! Please help!!" I heard a shriek of pain at the end of the entrance hallway.
It was pitch black, thank MAVIS I had a box of matches and a lighter.
"Hurry! There's no time to lose, he's in trouble!" (G/n) said in worry.
"Alright! Follow me!" I called behind me while running to the voice that was calling out.
"*sniff* *sniff* Hmm, this smell's familiar..." I mumbled.
"What?" My partner asked.
