I didn't hear her voice as I knocked on the bathroom door so I knocked another three times but still no reply. Without thinking, I quickly opened the bathroom door to see my beloved Jessica sitting under the pouring shower. Her head on her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs.
I quickly rushed to turn off the boiling water but Jessica's arm stopped me and she said "please don't. Please don't leave me alone." She said as the tears fell out of her eyes. Not thinking twice, I took my shirt and shoes off and sat right next to her. She put her head onto my shoulder and started to cry. I lifted her up and put her on my lap as if she was a little baby who was crying in her moms arms. Even tho the water was boiling, her skin was ice cold. I held her tighter and she wrapped her arms around me with her head on my chest. I could feel her Chest touch mine and I could feel her heart beat go slower.
"What's wrong my dear Jessica?" I said as I lifter her head up.
" I don't know what's wrong with me Jake, I just have hear visions that my father takes me and I see myself in a white wedding dress filled with blood." She said with a frightened tone.
"Listen to me my little angel, we will go through this together. Do you understand me? Even if he takes you, I promise I will always find you." He said as he kissed her forehead.
Jessica took a deep breath and exhaled it out as a sign of comfort and reassurance. She looked up at his eyes and started to kiss him. They both kissed each other with so much love and happiness but knew it wasn't the time. She stopped and smiled then cuddled back into his chest. Jake stopped up, carried his angel, turned off the running water, dried her with a towel from top to bottom and took her to his room. He put her down and went to get her a shirt for her to wear. When he came back he found her asleep on his bed with a soft smile on her face. Jake watched her sleep and then slowly dressed her up, making sure she wouldn't wake up.
The sun came up and Jake woke up to an bed empty. He got up and searched the house but couldn't find his beloved. "Sophie!" Jake said right before he heard the sound of something hitting a tree outside.
