Lucy's POV
SLAP
"You lier, I saw they way you looked at each other!" He screamed in my face.
"I swear, I swear I didn't cheat on you. He's just my friend." I pleaded. This was the side of Drake that I hated, that I was scared of.
"Why do you keep lying to me?" He yelled again. Then with another hard blow to my face I tumbled onto the floor. A searing pain ran through my chest as I fell but I made sure not to let any tears fall from my face.
"I told you, I'm not lying. I only love you." I begged. I tried to leave Drake before but he wouldn't let me. All the time he would beat me and bruise me until I told him I loved him.
Drake finally looked satisfied with my answer and let out an evil smile. "Good girl, now stand up and go and get me a beer." He ordered. I slowly stood up, ignoring the pain that ran through my body and made my way over to the fridge. What had I done to deserve someone like him in my life?
As I made my way back to him with a bottle of beer in my hand I looked down at my arm. It was already starting to grow a bump, I sighed pulling my sleeve over it and put the bottle in front of him.
"Good, what are you standing like that for? Come and sit down." Drake patted the seat next to him on the sofa and I obeyed silently.
He looked at me for a good few minutes, we just sat there not breaking eye contact. His bright blue eyes pierced holes into mine. How could eyes so beautiful be so deceiving? His long blonde hair was swept to the side. Maybe this was I had fallen for him in the first place. Because he was beautiful.
"You know if you just stayed with me the whole night, none of this would've happened." Drake said referring back to the party this evening.
"I know. I'm sorry, I love you." I whispered.
"I know and I love you too Lucy" He kissed me slowly. It was horrible but I couldn't pull away or I would get more beatings. For 3 years he had been doing this to me. 3 years I had to lie to my family and friends.

Drake snored lightly while his arm was wrapped around my waist. I slowly stood up making sure he wouldn't wake up and made my way upstairs to my room. Silent tears slid down my face as I looked into the mirror. A large red mark was printed on my left cheek and my arm was now black and blue. I carefully shut the bathroom door and switched the tap on. I washed my face and re did my make up so that all my bruises were covered. Yes, today was the day I was going to do it.
I ran back to my room, being careful not to wake Drake up and pulled out a small suitcase. I took a few essentials from my closet; my underwear, a few jeans and sweatpants and a few tops. I stuffed them into my suitcase. I grabbed my phone and purse and put it into a handbag. Should I leave him a note?
I decided to write a note just incase. I quickly got my journal and ripped out a page. I scribbled and unforgiving note and left it on my table.
I took one last look at my bedroom before quietly making my way downstairs. I peeked at Drake and sighed in relief as he was still snoring.
I breathed out as I picked up my car keys and left the house. I put my bags into the boot and got into the car.
Where should I go to now? I made a mental list in my head whilst making my way to Heathrow airport. New York, too expensive. Australia, too far. Brazil, I wouldn't fit it. Then it came to me. Paris!

Okay so this was my first chapter. Tell me what you think please! Should I continue or what...?
Also I am British so you might not understand some of the words. A boot is basically a trunk at the back of a car :)
Thanks, Nicole x
