Lucy's POV
I woke up to the vibrating of my phone behind me. I rubbed my eyes and reached out behind me to the wall pocket where my phone lay. Without looking I answered.
"Hello?" I said, in my husky morning voice,
"Lucy? Where the HELL are you? I wake up and you're nowhere in the house and the car is gone. So is half your wardrobe."
My body went still and I was all of a sudden very awake and scared. Drake.
"You looked inside my wardrobe?" That was the only thing I could think of saying.
"Answer my question Lucy, where the hell are you?!" He yelled. I froze and I couldn't get words out my mouth.
"DAMMIT LUCY." I heard a vase smash in the background.
"Drake calm down, I had to rush off to see Bella, she's in hospital in Glasgow and I had to go as soon as possible." I was terrible at lying.
"You and that stupid friend of yours, why didn't you tell me about this? I called you 3 times yesterday."
"I..I didn't want to wake you up." I stuttered.
"Whatever, I'll catch the next plane there, what hospital are you at?" He said in his annoyed voice. Oh shit, now what? You're such a smart ass Lucy.
"Oh no, you can't. I'm staying at the actual hospital, only 1 visitor is allowed." Well done Lucy, that was a bit of a crap lie wasn't it?
"Hmm, okay if you say so. How long are you going to be?" I could hear the obvious doubt in his voice.
"Umm, not sure yet, I have to go now Drake. See you later. Bye." I hurriedly said.
"Sure, bye." He simply stated and hung up.
Wow, that was close. Too close. I looked at the time, it was only 11am. This turned out to be a pretty decent hostel for only 14 Euros a night. It had a single bed in the middle and one locker on the side for personal belongings. The bathroom was pretty average with a small, narrow shower and a sink and toilet with a pretty useless hairdryer. But it was better than any other hostels I had stayed at. It also had a games room and common room with a pool table and some beanbags and a ping pong table. There was a sports centre attached to the hostel with a pool and some tennis courts which we got half price at because we were staying at the hostel.
I decided to roll out of bed and shower. I needed to wash my hair, there was a small bottle of shampoo and conditioner with some shower gel on the side. I picked the shampoo up and rubber it into my hair, enjoying the warmth from the water at the same time. Once I had finished I blowed dried my hair and threw it into a messy bun. I checked the time again, 11.45. I rushed downstairs to the cafeteria. Breakfast would be over in 15 minutes. I picked up a plate and took a chocolate croissant with a bowl of Cheerios. I searched around for an empty seat and spotted one next to the balcony.

After I finished breakfast, I decided to explore Paris. I walked out the hostel and made my way up the road towards the traffic lights. As I was about to cross the road my phone vibrated. It was an unknown number. What was it with people and phones today?
"Hello."
"Hey Lucy. How are you?"
A wave of happiness came on me. "Dad! I'm great! What's up?"
"Lucy I want to meet you today. Where are you?"
I smiled. "I'm near the Eiffel Tower dad, I don't know the name of the place."
