*(Y/N)'s POV*

"What?" I ask trying to take in his question.
"What is your relationship with Hoshi." Vernon repeats a tad slower than before.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I say trying to avoid the question.
"Don't play dumb with me (Y/N)," Vernon sighs.
"I see how close you and Hoshi are, all the skinship from when you were practicing that choreography that you showed us today, how you were all cuddled up at the park, and when you fed each other at the restaurant."
"Wait, you were watching us when we were in the other practice room?"
"Stop trying to change the subject, (Y/N)."
"Okay fine, yes we are dating. I'm sorry for not telling you, I just didn't know how to, I didn't have the courage to face you." I look away from him, and stare at my lap instead.
"(Y/N), look at me-" then Hoshi casually walked into the room.

"Woah, what's happening here?"
"(Y/N) over here was just telling me about your relationship that you have been hiding from me." Vernon says.
"Already?" Hoshi asks confused.
"I couldn't lie anymore, and he was already getting suspicious." I let out a small sigh.
"I'm really sorry, Vernon." I frown looking at him.
"How long have you been together?" He asks.
"Almost two weeks." I reply.
"Well, you haven't been keeping it from me for that long, so I will forgive you for that. And I did see this coming, but me being me, I got in the way." Vernon sighs.
"Hansol, don't say that." I try to comfort him.
"No it's true, I bet Hoshi hyung liked you before I did, but I just came into the picture and ruined it."
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Vernon." Hoshi says patting his shoulder.
"I'm happy for you guys."

"Have you told the others?" Vernon perks up a bit.
"Only Woozi knows." I reply.
"Let's go tell them now." Vernon drags Hoshi and I to the living room.
"Are you okay with this?" Hoshi asks me.
"Might as well." I shrug.

"Guys!" Vernon grabs everyone's attention.

"Do you want me to do it or?" Vernon turns to us.
"I'll do it." Hoshi stood forward and Vernon stood beside me smiling.

"(Y/N) and I are dating."

Everyone was silent, and I worryingly hid behind Vernon peeking a little over his shoulder.

"I knew it!" Mingyu yells out surprising me.
"So did I!" Wonwoo high-fives Mingyu.
"Congrats!" Everyone else cheers.
"So you guys don't mind?" I ask in shock.
"Why would we? We all saw this coming." S.Coups chuckles.
"She was so worried about what you guys would think, that's why we hid it from you." Hoshi laughs.
"Awh, noona! We would never judge you!" Dino says.
"That's a relief." I respond.

*Hoshi's POV*

I was sitting with (Y/N) and Minghao talking about random things from what we did today to how we will be in the future.

"I have two ideas for my future," Minghao starts.
"A) Seventeen will still be a thing, and I for sure will continue to be in the group, and if we decide to keep going until we retire then that will be my future. Or B) if Seventeen is done by the time I'm 40, I will be the CEO of a dance company!" Minghao says proudly.
"And when I'm 40 I'm going to move back to Canada and become the Prime Minister." (Y/N) mocks.
"You're so rude." Minghao shoves (Y/N)'s arm.
"You're practically a dream crusher." He adds.

I was barely taking part into their conversation when I saw Vernon walking to his room. I got up and followed him.
"Hey Vernon." I shut the door of the hip hop unit's bedroom.
"Oh, hey hyung." He smiles scooting over so I could sit with him.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Because of you know, (Y/N) and me dating..."
"I admit that I still have slight feelings towards (Y/N), but that shouldn't stop you guys from being together. I made my mistake, now this is what I get."
"It's not because of your mistake, Vernon. It just wasn't meant to be, you'll find someone who you will be able to cherish more than you wanted to with (Y/N). You have a long way to go." I say.
"I guess you're right."
"Hyung?"
"Yes?"
"Promise me that you will treat (Y/N) way better than I ever could."
"I swear by my life."
