It's been a little over a year since Soonyoung gave me that promise ring, and I still wear it everyday. Life has been good, Seventeen are still rising, and I'm still working with them. Right now, I was with the trainees that were going to debut in a few months, Pledis Girls.
"Unnie?" Kyla says grabbing my attention. "Huh?" "You zoned out." Nayoung giggles. "Did I? I'm sorry girls." I shake my head to recollect myself. "Where were we?" I ask. "You were just giving us advice about being an idol." Yebin reminds me. "Right, so you girls know that I was once a trainee like you girls, correct?" "Of course, unnie!" Yewon smiles. "But did you know that I was training to become an idol?" "Really?" Pinky gasps excitedly. "What was it like?" Eunwoo asks. "It was like how you guys are now, but since Seventeen was the main focus at the time, I got the opportunity to see the life of a debuted rookie idols." "Wow!" Sungwon looks at me with amazement. "Let me tell you what to expect." I began. "Once you debut, you will be very busy. Busier than you are now, but that's because things will be very new to you. Once you know your stuff, and you get used to what will come, everything will go easily." "I also want to give you some advice." "Being an idol may seem like paradise, and as long as you continue to love it, everything will go your way. Think positively, don't let anyone get in your way of living your dream, and work together. Create a bond that no one can break." "How do we do that, unnie?" Siyeon asks. "Communication." A voice barges into the conversation.
We all look over to see Soonyoung. "Always talk to each other, whenever there's a problem or a fight, talk it threw." He adds. "Hello, sunbae-nim." They all bow. "Hey girls." He bows. "And hello gorgeous." He places an arm over my shoulder placing a gentle kiss to my head. "Awh!" Minkyung squeals. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Came to pick up my girl from her dance lessons, am I interrupting something?" He raises an eyebrow at me. "Kind o-" "No,no, sunbae-nim! We were just talking about debuting, nothing special." Kyungwon interrupts me. "Yes! You can take her if you'd like." Pinky tries to hold back a squeal.
"Thank you girls, train hard. Fighting!" Soonyoung quickly says before dragging me out of the building. "What's the rush?" I ask. "Just wanted to spend some time with you." He grins widely before helping you into the car. "How about we go out somewhere nice?" "While I'm dressed like this?" I gesture to my sweaty work out clothes. "I've got you covered, jagi. You can change at the restaurant." "Restaurant for what?" "To eat." Soonyoung says in a duh-tone. "Now no more questions, just sit back and relax." Soonyoung comfortably places his hand on my thigh.
Butterflies began to flutter in my stomach. Not only because of the tingly feeling I was getting off of the simplest touch of Soonyoung, but because I was not sure of what to expect today. All in all, I had a feeling that today was going to be good.
Not long after, we arrived at a Korean Barbecue restaurant.
"Reservation for Soonyoung." Soonyoung says to the lady and she guides us to our table.
"Should we get all the meat?" Soonyoung asks. "There's so many, Soonyoung." I laugh. "Fine, we'll get half of the meat on the menu." Soonyoung says sarcastically. "Just order what you can finish." I laugh again with a smile not leaving my face.

After our beloved lunch, Soonyoung handed me a bag. "What's this for?" "This is the change of clothes I told you about, now go change in the washroom. I'll be here waiting."
I give him a strange look, but go and change anyway.
Once I was dressed, I took a look in the mirror, and my draw almost dropped to the floor. Not to be cocky or anything, but I look beautiful.
I was wearing a white lace dress that stopped at my mid-thighs and brown open toed sandals.

After I took on last glance in the mirror, I grabbed the bag that now had my previous clothes and went back to Soonyoung. "Wow. You look breathtaking." Soonyoung sighs happily. "Let's go before we run out of time." Soonyoung smiles taking my hand and his while leading us back to the car.
"Now, will you tell me where we're going?" I ask about ten minutes into the driving. "Be patient, jagi." Soonyoung chuckled. "We'll be there soon."

Indeed did we arrive so soon. We were at a park that I had no idea the name of. I began to think; were we having a picnic? But we just ate. Maybe we were just going to have a nice long walk? Yes, that's probably it.
Soonyoung took my hand in his and we began to walk. I still don't know where we were headed, but this walk was too relaxing to ruin the moment by asking.
We were surrounded by tall trees with a bit of sunlight peeking through. It was about one O'clock in the afternoon, so the weather was still fairly warm. We were walking on the cemented road that would lead us to an unknown destination.
We were walking in silence, but it was a comfortable silence. It was the kind of silence that gave a vibe of enjoying each other's company. It was nice. These are the kind of moments I would want to spend with my significant other.
We were walking on the correct path until Soonyoung lead us towards the path of dirt and grass. "Oppa? Are we allowed to walk here?" I ask a little worried of breaking the rules. "Don't worry about it, I've got it all handled." He assures me.
We began to walk up a hill, luckily it wasn't very steep, so none of us had a problem slipping. "This way." He lead us to the edge of a cliff. "You're not going to throw me off of this cliff are you?" I ask jokingly. "No, of course not." Soonyoung chokes out a laugh.
"So what are we doing here?" I ask. "Goodness, jagiya. You ask too many questions. Just let it be." He chuckles pulling me into his embrace. "Sorry, curiosity just gets the best of me sometimes." I look away from him shyly. "That's okay." He places his two fingertips at the bottom of my chin to pull my face up to his, and he delicately places a kiss upon my lips.
"Oh! Look over there." Soonyoung suddenly calls out pointing towards the opposite direction in the sky.
I turn away to look at where he was pointing, but there was nothing. "Where?" "Soonyoung there's nothing there." I chuckle turning back around.
But when I did I saw the most unexpected thing.
Soonyoung was kneeling on one knee in front of me. I let out a short gasp. "I planned out a speech, but my nerves are getting the best of me right now." He chuckles lightly. "Uh-"he clears his throat before speaking. "It's been over a year since I presented that promise ring to you at the airport, and I finally decided that it was time to fulfil that promise. My love for you is very strong, and I can officially say that you're the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with. So, (Y/N)..."
"Will you marry me?"
