Life is made up of failures. The little failures such as screwing up photos, saying the wrong thing, or just messing up everything. A lot of people these days say things such as FAIL or failing at life, but one day my sister literally failed at life.

At first I thought she was just having a bad day or being clumsier than usual, but when she received a phone call, I knew something was up. She never got calls. When I gave her the phone, I snuck into the other room and picked up the other landline so I could hear what was being said.

"Hello. Yes this is Ember, can I ask who is calling?" my sister asked.

"We are calling you today from the B.E.C.B. headquarters, because of the amount of energy you are emitting. Here at the Bad Energy Containment Board, we are concerned with the threat you pose to national security," the caller answered.

"Bad energy, threat to national security. I mean I make mistakes all the time, but I don't consider that as a threat to national security," Ember answered.

"Most people don't realize the energy they are emitting, but we have studies confirming that the energy people radiate have a direct effect on the nation's well-being. Just today the energy you released caused a power surge at the Pentagon that could have proved detrimental. You Miss, are radiating such high levels of negative energy that you will have to be deported out of the country where your mistakes won't put anyone else in danger," the caller replied. The caller hung up, and I was left stunned. I had no idea tiny mistakes could be such a problem. Our parents had already been informed, and there was nothing they could do about it.

That evening when a knock came to the door and a large van was parked in front of my house, I knew that this was really happening. Ember grabbed a backpack, which hadn't been closed all the way, so all of her belongings fell out. The guards escorted her out before she could pick it up, out of fear she would fail some more and cause more problems. They locked her in the back as if she was a shipment of cereal needing to be hauled cross country. It picked up speed until it rounded the corner, out of sight from where I watched. I couldn't believe that failure was not an option.
