Tips and Tricks
- The Razorpine is a useful weapon to fight Duke Fishron because of its high firing rate.
- The Possessed Hatchet can also be a good weapon to use in defeating Duke Fishron.
- The Tactical Shotgun with Chlorophyte Bullets can be effective as they provide high damage per second.
- Keep in mind your current distance from the Ocean that the boss was spawned at, so as to prevent him from becoming enraged and making the fight unnecessarily more difficult.
- Using the Laser Machine Gun with a Mana Flower equipped along with plenty of Mana Potions, and a UFO Mount for movement makes Duke Fishron easier to defeat.
- Ichor Arrows with the Chlorophyte Shotbow lowers his defense while not compromising base DPS.
- Vampire Knives with the Godly Modifier provide more damage and better healing that passes well into the second phase.
- The Inferno Potion can come in very handy during this fight to prevent taking any damage from Duke's homing bubble attacks. Since they only have 1 HP, and the inferno potion has a barrier around the player, it can easily destroy the bubbles if they get too close.
- On the other hand, The Horseman's Blade can destroy the bubbles and spawn a pumpkin for each one. With how many of them spawn it can put a large dent in Duke Fishron's health.
