"911 what's your emergency?" The dispatcher asked in a concerned yet professional and calming tone of voice. The woman sitting behind a computer screen answering calls all day to emergencies was already at the edge of her seat. Tears staining her cheeks and had just emptied her stomach in her trashcan. Little did she know she was about to lose what little bit of her facade of everything being alright.
"Hello? Yes I need help! Shes... she's killed my wife and- oh fu-" The males voice shifted from sorrow and fear to an all out panic. "Sir, we have dispatchers on the way. Stay on the line sir." The woman, whose heart lurched said. Through the males end of the line all was heard was his screams, the crunch of bone and a weird laughter that sent a shiver down the woman's spine. Little did she know at that moment she was the first to know of the Coven's mistake. The first massacre in years was with a witch Coven in the farm lands of Ohio.
Dispatchers arrived late on the scene with an ambulance. The door to a large house was ripped off the hinges and blood smears trailed into the house. The lights flickered and the sherif called in homicide. Homicide checked the perimeters and shifted through the house. Dismembered and unidentifiable bodies of a large variety, pools and pools of blood, and broken bones with muscle, skin and tendons hanging off. An alter was in the middle of the room with horns, bones of deceased animals and a variety of candles, stones and obscure objects. "Holy fuck..." the lead breathed as he ordered for the paramedics to come in for a body count. All seemed to go uneventful given the killer seemed to have left until they heard the cries of a six year old girl drenched in blood of her family.

Kayden shifted in her place on the couch. She sighed and ran her fingers through her unruly hair before taking a sip of the last of her coffee. Seven cups of coffee and no sleep is what ensued the multicolor haired woman. She let out a small noise as her mind went hay wire.
She stayed up all night listening to motzart and coming up with a plan of how she was going to take her first kill in a long time. It concerned her really. The thought of taking a life for not only Vivian but for David's sake. To avenge Marcus.
It felt like the wheels finally clicked in place for Kayden as she stood up. Kayden treaded silently into her kitchen to put her coffee cup in the sink, the contents empty. She had a plan and it seemed flawless. All she needed to do was figure out where Dr. Ralph's home was. Which given the glorious thing of the phone book and the vast Internet, she didn't think it would be to hard. Hell, she could even ask her runes, books, and the like. A witch had many tools.
"You seem to have it all thought out, haven't you?" A voice calmly rang through. Kayden turned around to see Vivian standing there with a content Pepper in her arms purring louder then a motor boat. If that was even physically possible for the tiny animal. "There are plenty of kinks in it but I can work them out as I go. I got this, don't worry your sweet ass, Miss Death." Kayden's voice was all but welcoming. She was tired and yet hopped on caffeine. She was lucky she came up with anything at all.
Vivian, noting this set Pepper down on the ground before the taller woman stepped closer, inches from Kayden. "Without sleep I don't think you should be doing this right away, though I enjoy your enthusiasm." Vivian paused, as if just now noticing motzart in the background. A smirk spreading across her lips. "Classical? Hmm ..." She practically purred.
Kayden shifted and moved past Vivian towards her bedroom. At first she was concerned of how Vivian even got in until she remembered. Death isn't human. Vivian may have a pretty face, curves that made Kayden wonder exactly what the woman's flesh tasted like, yet Vivian was still lethal. Sexy but lethal. David was right... A dangerous combination. Kayden thought as she undressed to redress into cleaner clothing.
"I heard that." Vivian called as she sat at the table, toying with a ring of Kayden's that she left hap-hazardly placed. Kayden shook her head and sighed. Slipping on a pair of black pants and a matching black tank top. Combat boots laced neately and a hunting knife sheathed inside her boot with the handle sticking out adorned her feet. Her pant legs were tucked into the boots, which wasn't to complicated given the jeans were skinnies. Her arms were covered by a black and white lettermans jacket that read "Alpha" on the back with the number 13.
Kayden's lucky number that was. Pulling her hair up into a clip she headed to the bathroom to brush her teeth and deal with morning necessities. She had to be a normal adult right? To an extent. She still enjoyed onsies on occasion while she drank a beer and played video games. Normal adult things really.
"So." Vivian started. Standing in the doorway. Her crimson eyes watching Kayden's every move though making no attempt to enter the bedroom to take Kayden. Not to the shorter woman's silent wish her body made when the taller woman was around. "So," Kayden began. Her eyes attempting to wander unnoticed."I need to go to my storage unit. Clean things up, lay plastic wrap and begin my hunt." The shorter woman said simply as if it was more of a chore like grocery shopping than taking a mans life.
Kayden grabbed her keys and wallet before standing infront of the intimidating woman. "After storage I need to figure out where the preys home is, his routine. Hopefully find his.. science room." Kayden called it, referring to the fake dontation of science Marcus' body will be given in Dr. Ralph's hands.
With that Kayden moved around Vivian to head out. Their skin touching briefly in passing that sent a feel of an electrical current course through her skin. Expanding out through her entire being. It wasn't an unpleasent shock but enough to steal Kayden's breath away. Glancing up into Vivian's eyes, their slight darker in hue Kayden knew the taller woman felt it too.
Clearing her throat Vivian pointed to the front door. "Storage unit?" With a shake of her head Kayden nodded weakly backing up before turning with a hesitation Vivian couldn't miss. Heading through the door, locking it up and making her way to her vehicle Vivian was nowhere in sight. Must of gotten bored and left to... Vivia La Vivian.
Clearing the distance to her car Kayden got in and pulled out of the complex and onto the street. "Why not get a truck?" Vivian's voice rang out as she just formed into the passenger side wearing... Normal clothes? Kayden made a small noise and her knuckles tightened on the steering wheel. "Good fucking goddess be damned." She said glancing over at the taller woman.
Vivian just tilted her head. Acting confused. Though she knew damn well why Kayden said such a thing. "Awe did the big bad witch get spooked?" She poked with a wicked smile slipping onto her lips. Kayden glanced over with narrowed eyes and mumbled a noncoherent response. Vivian was dressed in black leather jeans, combat boots and plain grey tee shirt that hung loosely though the front was tucked in.
"You look.... Normal?" Kayden commented though her thoughts were along other lines. Sexy. Alluring. Damn I want to take that shirt off and nibble along her flesh. Blushing Kayden shook her head. Fuck me. Kayden needed to get her thoughts in line because Vivian heard every thought. A smirk betrayed it to be true."If you wish, kitten. I do enjoy a challenge." Vivian cooed seductively.
Kayden blushed a brilliant red and glanced over. At a loss for words. "Ahh. Could you stop reading my mind?" Vivian mulled it over as if considering it before patting Kayden's cheek and smiling yet again. "Naw. Your dirty thoughts make me feel... things." She said with a wink before turning her attention to the passing world.
