It was the end of the world. Remnant will never exist anymore, thanks to a meteor as wide as twenty miles, was going to strike earth, and wipe out the entire human and faunes race.

At least everyone from Beacon graduated and became full fledged hunters and huntresses. Blake became an activist for faunes rights, and getting married to Yang.

Yang finally tracked down her mother and the two spent some quality time with each other, involving Ruby as well. Weiss, who became heiress to the scheene company, helping in wars, married to Neptune.

Jaune became powerful huntsmen, and discovered he was gay and married Sun. Velvet and Coco confessed their feelings for each other and remained happily together.

Cardin and his team got what they deserved, and quit Beacon Academy. Finally Ren and Nora got married, they discovered that they liked each other like that. Ozpin and Glynda stayed best friends, always helping each other.

Ruby, Ruby always wanted to die in battlefield. It was safe to say she wanted to die doing what she loved the most. That was killing Grimm and rescuing and protecting the weak.

But, she would die, be killed by a massive rock. It was a  sickening thought that kept her awake at night. That's until,  Yang invited everyone to her house, saying it was the last time they would see each other in earth. Then they would live the rest of their lived immortal.

That's what everyone wanted, but Ruby.

You see, over the years, Ruby was never in a relationship with anyone, claiming that she was busy with mission. Truth is, she felt empty, knowing from the moment she fell in love with Pyrrha, it would never work.

She and Pyrrha were just too different, and not all attractions attract each other. At least, that's what Ruby would say.

She was currently out in the balcony, watching the stars shine, while she saw a giant white speck of ball approaching them in high speeds.

'I need to tell her.' She thought as her palms were sweaty, her heart was thumping. The adrenaline pumping in her veins made her more nervous. Vomit almost surfaced twice as she walked inside the room, where all her friends were crowed around a fire, Yang made. It almost looked like Yang was already trying to kill them.

"Hey Rubes. Nice to know you finally joined us." Yang gently patted a seat next to her.

Next to Pyrrha.

Ruby didn't dare to make eye contact with Pyrrha as she nodded and sat next to Yang. "So guys, what's your dying wishes?" Sun said, snuggled against Jaune, who was kissing his forehead.

"I wish I had more time to spent with you guys." Blake said, everyone agreeepd, but no one heard Ruby.

"What about you, Ruby?" Weiss said as she sat on Neptune's lap. She sighed and stared at her old teammate. "I wish I could've found my soulmate." She said.

Ruby's eyes landed on a pair of emerald green eyes. 'Damn those beautiful eyes.' She through as Pyrrha gave her a small smile. "Hey everyone, let's go to the rooftop and say our final goodbyes!" Neptune carried Weiss and everyone else ran up as well.

Except Ruby and Pyrrha.

"Not going up are we?" Pyrrha asked. "Nope. I don't have a girlfriend." Ruby murmured, blushing like a school girl. "Oh." Was all Pyrrha said as she sat in front of Ruby.

"Tell me. Why didn't you tell me you loved me? Back when we were in Beacon Academy." Pyrrha said suddenly. "I-I was scared, scared that you wouldn't take me seriously, since you are two years older than me." Ruby said as she leaned in.

"I loved you as well. And to this day, I still do. I would've accepted you, you know." She said before kissing Ruby's forehead and taking her hand. "Heh. I guess it's too late to say 'I love you'." Ruby said as they walked up stairs, and saw everyone holding hand and pointing at meteor approaching fast.

"It's never to late for anything Ruby. I, should know that the most. I'm sure you forgave your mother, as I've forgiven my enemies." She said as Ruby could feel the atmosphere heating up.

"It's coming!" Yang joked, and instead of being glared at by Blake and Weiss, they laughed and hugged each other.

Ruby stared back at Pyrrha, with tears in her eyes. "In that case, Pyrrha Nikos, I love you." She said. Pyrrha sighed happily, the words calmed her aching heart. "I love you too Ruby Rose." She said as she took her hand and put the around her waist.

Ruby smiled and kissed Pyrrha gently on the lips.

Every single couple held hands and kissed each other passionately. The heat from the rock increased as they held hands and prayed that they would stay together.

Little did they know, a God listened to their prayers, and when they came into heaven, they would be together forever, loving each other like family.

'I love you.' Was Ruby's last thought, before the giant rock crashed, turning everything white. It wasn't painful, as they would see each other every soon.

'I love you too.' Pyrrha's words echoed in Ruby's heart. One last meeting.

One last time, was all they needed to love.
