The chilly air of October sent shivers down Neptune's spine as Sun gripped his hand tighter. Sun had convinced both of them to sneak out of beacon and to Vale's city pool. Needless to say, the weather wasn't good enough.

"I-It's so cold, I knew I should have never let you convince me to sneak in with you." Neptune said, his breath coming out in puffs of smoke. "Oh don't be a baby, this is super cool!" Sun said, walking at the edge of the aqua colored pool. "Not to mention it has quiet a pretty shade, almost like the color of your eyes Nep." He said.

The blue-haired boy blushed as Sun chuckled and slid off his clothes. "W-what are you doing?!" He cried out as the monkey faunes slowly diped his body down the cold water. "What do you think? I'm skinny dipping. I ain't getting my clothes wet." Sun mumbled as Neptune covered his flushed face, ignoring the way his heart picked up speed whenever Sun shot him a second glance.

"C'mon! The water isn't that cold! Just concentrate some of your aura around your body and you'll be fine." An outstretched hand reached towards the taller boy as he bit his bottom lip. "Fine." Neptune gulped as he began pulling his shirt over his face, not before tripping on his shoe laces and splattering face-first into Sun.

The cold rushing water engulfed him, but nothing more could shock him then the way Sun's soft lips pressed against his. His body felt all tingly as he broke away and swam to the surface. "I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to kiss you! My shoelaces weren't tied properly! U-um, the stupid sweater was in my way and I couldn't see and I'm so s-" Neptune was interrupted mid sentence by Sun, who had pulled him underwater and kisses him again.

Butterflies danced in Neptune's stomach as he wrapped his arms around Sun's shoulders, sharing their warmth as one.

"In that exact moment, I realized I wanted nothing more than to love your grandfather." A old man said, sitting on a rocking chair, as his grandchildren gathered around them. Years after training as a Huntsmen had worn him down, but he still had those aqua blue eyes that shone with wisdom and mirth.

"Dad, please don't share your delinquency with my kids." His oldest child said. "Oh Greg, they're only thirteen, sooner they'll be causing more trouble than me and your father made." The old man said, running his hands through his greyish blue hair.

"Greg looks almost like your grandfather Sun, except all he's missing is his eyes and his mischief." His voice carried warmth and yearning as his oldest son gently patted his back.

"It sure feels like one of those roman holidays."
