Nina's pov
It had been a month since Lucien had taken Nina and she was beginning to lose hope that she would ever be rescued from him.

He had started to trust her a lot more over the past month, at first he left her tied to a chair or something when he went out, so he knew she wasn't going anywhere, then after about two weeks he allowed her to walk around the apartment because he knew she couldn't go anywhere.

He didn't know that Nina had been coming up with a plan to escape for the past month, it was just finding the right moment to put her plan into action.

She heard the front door open and close and closed the book that he had bought for her to read, he smiled at her when he saw her curled up on the couch "Hello, Nina," he said in a casual tone, he was acting like she was his room-mate and not his captive.

"Hello, Lucien," she replied in a whisper, she was still terrified of him, she always would be. He hadn't been in any longer than ten minutes when there was a loud knock on the front door, Nina turned to face Lucien who was looking at the door with furrowed brows.

"I wasn't expecting company," he muttered as he walked over to her, he wrapped his hand tightly around her arm and pulled her up to her feet. He quickly walked her over to the bedroom and shoved her inside, he was about to walk back out but then he turned back around and shoved her onto the bed, he pulled the rope and the cloth that he used a makeshift gag and Nina shook her head furiously.

"No. You don't have to do this, Lucien. I won't. I won't try anything, I promise," she whimpered as ltears began to roll down her face.

"I might trust you, love, but I don't trust you that much," he replied as he tied her hands to the bed post and tied the cloth around her mouth before rushing out of the room and closing the door. Whoever was there was very impatient, they were pounding on the door, Nina was praying that it was the police and that she would finally be rescued from this man.

Nina heard an unfamiliar voice through the door and she listened intently to the conversation that was going on between Lucien and the man who's voice she didn't recognize.

"We know she's here Mr. Teller, just tell us which room she's in or we'll just search your apartment until we find her," the unfamiliar man said, was he talking about her?

"I don't know what you're talking about," Lucien replied, she could practically hear the smirk on his face.

"Mr. Teller, stop lying to us and tell us where she is," the unknown man said in a serious tone. "Fine, if you're going to play it that way. Barnes! Rogers! Get in here," Nina's eyes widened and her heart started racing, was he talking to Bucky and Steve. The next voice she heard was very familiar and she felt a wave of relief wash over her.

"Tell us where she is, Lucien!" Bucky yelled.

"Fuck you, Barnes!" Lucien yelled back.

"Barnes! Check that room there. If she really is in here, you and Rogers will be the first people she'll want to see," the man who must have been a police officer said to Bucky.

She could hear footsteps getting closer and closer to the room and with each step her heart started beating faster and faster, the door was pushed open and her green eyes locked with those crystal blue ones that she thought she would never see again.

"Nina!" he gasped as he ran over to her and started to undo the ropes the bound her to the bedpost and then he untied the cloth and pulled it away from her mouth.

"Bucky," she whispered with a small smile on her face, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his chest.

"I thought I'd never see you again," he whispered into her hair as he placed a kiss on top of her head.

"Well, you thought wrong, Buck," she whispered back as she looked into his eyes.

Someone cleared their throat and Nina pulled away and looked up, she grinned when she saw Steve standing there with tears rolling down his face. "Stevie," she said as she got up and wrapped him into a hug.

"Thank God, you're safe. I'm so happy you're safe," he mumbled into her shoulder.

"Come on, let's get her out of here," Bucky said as Nina and Steve pulled away from each other. Bucky wrapped his arm around Nina's shoulder and held her close to him as they walked out of the building. Lucien was being put into the back of a police car and she glared at him and he looked back at her, he looked pissed, but she didn't care.

Nina was asked to come down to the station to answer questions which she agreed to, she told them everything, he hadn't tried to touch her in a sexual way thankfully but she had a few bruises on her arms from where he had grabbed her, she also had rope burn on her wrists and ankles. They told her that he wouldn't be getting out for a very long time, and with that Nina left the station ready to go on with her life without the threat of Lucien looming over her every day. She could finally have a normal life.
