Just friends...? pt.1

Geo's POV

Loren and I have been best friends for such a long time now. Secretly, I like her, but I just never got the courage to tell her because she has a boyfriend, Elijah. He's the bad boy of the school. I always protected her, but she loves him, and I love her, so all I want is for her to be happy, even if it means I get hurt.

Loren's POV

Elijah said he needed to talk to me about something. So I got into my car and drove to his house. I got there, then walked inside. When I got there, we both sat on his bed. "I sort of, cheated on you.." "What, with who?" "Alexa" "How could you? I thought you loved me! We're over"

I ran out of the room, into my car and drove to Geo's house. I really needed someone to talk to, and Geo was always there for me.

Geo's POV

Someone started knocking at my door, and I went to go get it. When I opened it, it was Loren crying. "What happened?" "Elijah broke up with me" "It's okay, I'm here"

We sat on the couch, and I held her in my arms. She was hurt, and that hurt me. I wanted her to be happy, always. So we went out and I tried to cheer her up. We got in the car and drove to the bowling alley. She still cried a lot, but I think us going out and having fun cheered her up a little bit.

Until, we went to take a walk by the skate park. We walked by and there he was, Elijah.

Loren started crying, but I held onto her tight. Elijah walked up to us. "Who is this douche?" "I'm someone who actually cares about her. So we're leaving."

Loren's POV

I'm glad I have Geo. He's so important to me. He's always there for me when I'm down, or when I'm lonely. I'm glad to have such a great friend.

Geo's POV

I love Loren, but I wish she would love me back. I have been here for her, always. I wish she she could see that. I wish she would realize how I love her, and how much I cared for her. It hurts me when she says, "You're such a great friend." I wish we could be more than...
