Summer Love Pt. 5

Josh stood in front of the doorway, holding a blonde girl's hand. She was pretty and older than me. 

"Hey Josh" I said in a bored tone.

"Hey Loren, I just wanted to say some stuff"

"Go ahead" I said rolling my eyes as the blonde girl smiled at me.

"First off this is my girlfriend, Rachel"

"Hi! You must be the girl Joshy has been seeing for a while, thank you for cheating on him, it made it so much easier for him to break up with you" Rachel said with a fake smile.

"I didn't- never mind"

No excuses, no excuses, no excuses.

"Second of all, I never loved you, the whole time I was with you, I was actually with Rachel" Josh told me.

I started to tear up, but I couldn't let this jerk get to me, I won't.

"Lastly, have a nice life, because you'll never be able to live without me" he said while flexing. Rachel giggled, but I just rolled my eyes.

"Oh, I don't know how I'll survive" I said sarcastically.

"Bye Josh" I said flatly as I slammed the door. I walked to the kitchen to get ice cream, when I heard a knock at the door. I ignored it, it's probably just Josh and I'm tired.

Tired of boys, love, and life.

10 Years Later...

Loren's POV

It's been 10 years since my breakup and I've changed. I'm twenty four now and life is great. I just graduated with my masters degree from Columbia and now I'm working for "Chic Magazine", a super trendy teen magazine. I love writing, and drama so it works out great.

I'm in my apartment right now and it's my birthday. I'm so happy, my friends sang me happy birthday, we went out for brunch, and now to relax. Thank god its Saturday!

I was just about to dive into my red velvet bunt cake when I heard scratches at my door.

I opened the door and saw nobody, then I looked down. It was a cute little dog. 

"Aww, hi little guy!" I said picking up the dog. 

I instantly noticed the little collar that the dog had. 

The collar said "Princess-(///)-///-////"
I grabbed my phone as I poured a little water into a bowl. I put the bowl on the ground and dialed the number on my phone.

"Hey, this is Rae, whats up?"

"Hi Rae, I'm Loren, I found your uh- Princess- in front of my house! Where should I bring her?"

"Ohmygod! Youfoundher! SHEFOUNDHER!!!" the girl screamed rapidly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Rae said

"It's nothing!"

"Just take her to my condo, me and my boyfriend were just relaxing"

"Oh, you guys live together?"

"No, he's just visiting, well anyways I'll text you the address"

"Sounds good, See you there!" I said while ending the call.

In two seconds, I get a text from the number with an address, luckily it was close.

As I walked to the house it brought back memories. Memories of when I used to run. I stopped after what happened with Geo. It may have been ten years ago, but I'll never forget. Sometimes I wonder what he's up to.

Hey Guys!!! Okay, sorry I didn't update the other day, I was busy. Just beware, the next chapter will be the END of Summer Love. It was fun writing on Leo Stories. There will be a sequel so I'll give details later. That's it. Oh wait, I'm supposed to do a Q&A.
