Forever?

After his time with Amber and Krystal, Kai heads back to the dorm. He walks into the room he shares with Kyungsoo and find him waiting on him. Kai looks at Kyungsoo and without saying a word, he goes straight to his dresser, gets out a clean pair of underwear, a tee, and joggers.

"Kai, we need to talk."

Ignoring Kyungsoo, Kai leaves out the room and goes into the bathroom to take a shower. Kyungsoo had gather all the courage he had to tell Kai what was going on, but the longer it took to tell him, the more nervous he got. Kyungsoo starting to reconsider telling Kai. He gets up to leave when Kai comes back in the room. Kai breaks the silence.

"So where were you last night? I tried calling and texting, but you didn't respond. I was worried."
Kyungsoo feeling like shit for making Kai worry about him while he was sleeping with Suho, lowers his head.

"I'm so sorry Kai. I didn't mean to make you worry."

"As long as you're ok, that's all that matters."

Kai sits on his bed, "did you want to talk Kyungsoo?"
" I do...if you don't mind."
"Come sit next to me. smirking, I don't bite, I promise."

Hesitantly Kyungsoo sits next to Kai on the bed.
Brushing Kyungsoo hair off his forehead, "what is it Kyungsoo?"

Kyungsoo hesitates, trying to find the right words. Just when he began to talk, Kai interrupts.

"I ran into Soo Min on my way to rehearsal today. She told me her and Suho had broken up. He told her he was in love with someone else. Can you imagine that?"

Kyungsoo doesn't respond.
"She said she came back to the dorm to apologize to Suho for slapping him, but she couldn't find him. She said she noticed our light was on and was about to knock when she heard noises coming from the room. She didn't want to interrupt anything, so she left."

Kyungsoo starting to feel a little nervous, starts to look around the room.

"I didn't think much of it, but then it hit me. I wasn't with you," Kai starting to raise his voice, I was at the bar. Those noises Soo Min heard, were not from me!"

Kyungsoo gets off the bed. Rubbing the back of his neck, "that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

Kai gets off the bed and stands directly in front of Kyungsoo.

"So what do you want to tell me? That you're fucking Suho?! Is that what you been dying to tell me?"
Kai pushes Kyungsoo as tears fill his eyes.
"I'm sorry Kai. We never meant for this to happen."
Tears fall out of Kai eyes. "I thought you loved me. I thought we were happy. You promised me forever!"

Kyungsoo goes to hug Kai, to try and comfort him. Kyungsoo wraps his arms around Kai and Kai cries into Kyungsoo's chest.

"Let me go!" Kai pushes Kyungsoo away.
"Don't pretend you care about me, because anyone who would do this, never cared!" Kai wiping his eyes, frustrated with himself for showing weakness. "I mean nothing to you! I might as well be dead!"

"No Kai! Please don't say that," tears rolling down Kyungsoo's face.

Kai picks up his phone and his wallet. He takes a jacket out the closet and walks to the door. He stops, "I didn't deserve this. Even now with my heart breaking, I still love you."

Kai walks out the door. Kyungsoo falls to his knees, filled with guilt.
