Not if I can help it...

Kyungsoo spent a lot of time with Kai at the hospital out of guilt. But the more time he spent with Kai, the more he realized he missed his company. The Kai he fell in love with returned when he awaken from his coma. The happy, cheerful, optimistic, loving and caring Kai. Kyungsoo still loved Suho, but realized he's not completely over Kai.

Today is the day that Kai is being discharged. Kai made it clear that he didn't want a big fuss about him being back home. He just wanted a quiet evening. Kyungsoo goes to pick him up and as he takes Kai in the wheel chair out to the car, Kai asks, "Kyungie, could you make me some of your kimchi spaghetti? I've been craving it and it feels like forever since I've had any."
Kyungsoo smiles at the request.
"Of course I will make it."

They arrive at the dorm. "It's so good to be back home." Kai said, looking out the car window, noticing Suho watching them from his room. They exit the car and started walking towards the door. Kai knowing that Suho is still watching, stops Kyungsoo. "Kyungie, I would like to thank you for everything you done,"
and kisses Kyungsoo on the lips. Kyungsoo is surprised by the gesture and Kai glances at the window to see Suho turn and walk away.

Kyungsoo brings in Kai bag.
"Kyungie, I will take that. I really would like it if you started the food. The hospital food was awful and I'm hungry for your spaghetti."
Handing Kai his bag, "ok, go to your room and rest. I will let you know when it's ready." Kyungsoo watches Kai go upstairs and he goes to prepare the dish. Kai  recalls that Kyungsoo said "your room" and not our room. But he wasn't going to let Suho have him for a second time. Kai goes to his room, drops his bag on the bed and start to unpack. He turns around to hang his jacket up and is startled by Suho standing in his doorway, watching him.
"You startled me!" Kai said hanging his jacket in the closet.

"How does it feel to be back home? Do you need help with anything?"

"No thanks! Kyungie is looking out for me. He's making his famous kimchi spaghetti. Would you like to join us? I'm sure my Kyungie made more than enough."

Suho fakes a smile. He hates it when Kai call him Kyungie. "No, I'm not hungry but I think a home cooked meal and sleep in your own bed will help. Who knows, maybe even recover the memory you lost." Suho said smiling at Kai. " I just stopped by to welcome you back and to talk with Kyungsoo. I will talk to him later."

Not if I can help it, Kai was thinking to himself.

Suho goes down to the kitchen to talk with Kyungsoo.
"Kyungsoo!"
Kyungsoo turns to see Suho and smiles.

"Can you come to my room tonight? We need to talk and I've missed you."

"I will be there as soon as I get Kai settled. I've missed you too."

Suho walks over to Kyungsoo and kisses his cheek. "See you soon."
Suho goes back to his room and Kyungsoo takes the food up to Kai.
Kai eats every bite and tells Kyungsoo how good it is.

Kyungsoo is growing impatient knowing Suho is waiting for him. Kai notices that Kyungsoo is constantly checking the time. Kai gets in the bed. "Kyungie, will you sleep with me tonight? I really need you to hold me. I've been having nightmares about the accident." Kai playing on Kyungsoo guilt, "The funny part is, I can't remember why I was drinking so much. It couldn't have been my injury."

The guilt works and Kyungsoo lays next to Kai. I love you Kyungie!" Kai lays his head against Kyungsoo arm. Kai starts to fall asleep. Kyungsoo reaches for his cell.
Suho is in his room, waiting for Kyungsoo when he receives a text saying: I'm sorry, I'm not going to be able to see you tonight. Kyungie 😔

Suho throws his phone against the wall.
