I Don't Mind if You're Over Rated (An Austin Carlile fan fiction)

chapter 7

I heard Austin say something but I didn't know what he said. "What was that babe?" I asked turning around. "I love you," he repeated. His hands were behind his head and he was laying on his back looking up at the stars. I came and layed my head on his chest and said, "Hey how about we ditch them and go back to the bus. I think they want some alone time anyways." He stood up, picked me up and put me on his back and gave me a piggyback ride all the way back to the bus; I mean it wasn't far away, but I kinda felt bad, I don't know why.

He flipped me around to the front and held me like a bride so he can sit on the couch. I was sitting on his lap looking into his gorgeous eyes, I noticed he was laughing. "Whats so funny?" I asked. "Nothing, just thinking," he said. "Is it bad?" I asked him. "Are you "bad"?" he asked me back. "Aww you're thinking about me?" I asked rhetorically. "All the time," Austin said flirtatiously. I snuggled up with him.

After snuggling for a while I began getting tired, and just as I was about to fall asleep, he asked if I wanted to watch a movie. Of corse I said yes and turns out he got my two favorite movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Corpes Bride. I grabbed a blanket and we laied down on the couch in the lounge room of the bus (because thats where the t.v was) and soon, I didn't mean to, but I started to doze off. When I felt Austin pull me in more it kind of brought me to my sences and I woke up a little, but dozed back off pretty fast.

I realized, Matti and Alan arn't back and neither are the rest of the guys. What ever they can find their way back. Next thing I knew, I was waking up. I tried to go back to sleep, but then I realized we were still on the couch. I heard Tino snoring and I knew the guys were back, and soon I heard Matti and Alan wispering. Good, everyone got back safely.

I rubbed my eyes to fully wake up, I tried not to wake Austin, but I accentedently did. He asked me in a tired voice, "Goodmorning babe. Have a good sleep?" "Well lets see, I slept with you all night, so yeah my sleep was amazing." He laughed. "Lets go get some coffie," he said getting up, "so where do you want to go? Dutch Bros or Starbucks?" He gave me one look and knew Starbucks because it is kinda cold out. He knows on coldish days I like Starbucks and on hot days I like Dutch Bros. cold drinks.

He threw on a shirt and shoes, I threw on a sweatshits with my hair still up in a messy bun from when I put it up before bed, and we walked out. He ran to the passengerseat and opened the door for me. When he got in he started the car then asked, "What song do you want to listen to?" "Second and Sebring," I said. I was looking out the window, still a little tired, and though I didn't see him, I heard him laugh a little. He put on the song I wanted to listen to and as the song progressed, I heard him singing under his breath.

I don't know this town, so I don't know how long till we are there. I stared out the window singing under my breath as well. I kinda got lost in my train of thought untill Austin pulled me out of it when he grabbed my hand. He looked over at me quickly so he wouldn't get distracted from the road. He smied and focused on driving.

I didn't know if I should say anything, so I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. Right when I finshed kissing his cheek quickly, our song came on. I looked at him and he looked at me. "Sing it with me?" he asked. I just nodded. I began singing it with the song, but Austin never joined in. I thought he was just waiting fot the right part, but he never joined.

When the song was over I giggled a little and looked over at him as we were pulling into Starbucks. "You never joined," I said kinda embarrased. "I wan't to hear you," he said. I looked away because I was turning red. He moved my head back and looked me in the eyes and said, "Your vocie is beautiful. Why are you embarrased?" he qusetioned. "Because I'm no where near as good as you. I'm not good at all for that matter, and I sang that song, the whole so," I never got to finish. He kissed me and didn't break it untill we had to get out of the car. "Your voice is almost as beautiful as you," he said to me. I blushed and hugged him.

Austin's POV

After Alan kissed Matti, I leaned back laying my head on my arms, and looked at the stars. All I could think of was Gloria. I wanted to tell her I loved her, but I don't know if she loves me back. I sould tell her. No, but what if she dosen't feel the same. The two thoughts conflicted in my mind and within the internal argument, the words slipped from my mouth. I guess I said it to faintly because she asked what I said. I didn't mean to say it again but I did.

She layed her head on my chest and asked if we wanted to ditch so I picked her up and boy she is a lot lighter than she looks. I'm not saying she is fat, I'm saying she looks like she would way as much as a gil her age should (which still isn't heavy but still) but it felt like carying a toddler. We got to the bus and snuggled for a while. I didn't notice Gloria was almost asleep when I asked if she wanted to watch a movie, but if it helps I got her two favorite movies: The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Corpes Bride.

Before I knew it she was asleep. She is so beautiful, and still beautiful when she sleeps. I stroked her hair when she was sleeping, and she cuddled in more with me. I ended up falling asleep with my arms wrapped around her. When I awoke I noticed how beautiful Gloria was still when she woke up. I asked if she wanted to get coffie and followed with "Dutch Bros or Starbucks" and once the words slipped from my mouth, I knew the answer.

In the car ride I asked Gloria what she wanted to listen to and she told me Second and Sebring and in an instant it was on. I was singing alittle under my breath, but I think she still heard me. I grabbed her hand adn intertwined her fingers with mine. She looked at our hands then up at me. I almost got lost in her eyes, but I'm glad she looked back out her window otherwise we would have crashed. When I least expected it she leaned over and kissed my cheek. Well that caught me off gaurd, but it also made me blush super bad.

Our song came on when we were about 5 minuets away from starbucks. I looked over at her and asked, "Sing it with me?" She looked nervous so I gave her a reassuring smile and she nodded and indicated she will. She began singing and she had a voice like an angel. I made it seem like I was about to join so she would keep sinign, but I knew I was never going to.

When the song was over she laughed. He laugh is so cute. As we were pulling into starbucks she looked over at me and said, "You never joined." kind of embarrassed. All I told her was "I wan't to hear you," and when she turned her head in embarrasment, I turned it right back and asked her "Your vocie is beautiful. Why are you embarrased?" I cut her off with a kiss and it was the best yet. She was caught off gaurd, but soon realized what was going on and kissed back.
