I Don't Mind if You're Over Rated (An Austin Carlile fan fiction)

Chapter 11

I woke up to find Matti got krispy kreme and starbucks. I know she was trying to cheer me up, but that was the first night I slept without Austin in a long time and it felt weird. We talked the whole time we were eating and then afterward we got ready for the day. She took me out and kept me busy untill the boys time to play their show; Matti knew I wanted to watch.

Finally,  8:30, time to go to the show. I waited for everyone to go on stage, and when Austin was about to go on stage we made eye contact. I smiled slightly but he just rolled his eyes away in annoyance. Ouch that hurt. I need to talk to him. I watched their set from side stage. When their last song came on Austin looked surprised. Alan told the crowd, "So Austin is gunna sing this song and not Shay." The crowd erupted in cheer. Alan began playing and Austin began singing. I just about cried when I hear it was out song. About halfway through the song, I did something I have never done before. I walked on stage and grabbed Austin's wrist and turned him to look at me.

Austin's POV

About half way through the song, somthing surprised me. Someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around, and what do you know it was Gloria. Annoyed, I tried to turn away but she slammed her lips against mine and it seemed like I was drunk on her love already. Her kiss was intoxicating. I caught on and began kissing back. I wrapped my arms around her small waist and pulled her closer to me so there was no room between us.

I broke the kiss, not only because I needed air, but the crowd was erupting in cheer. I looked over to see Alan and the rest of the guys smileing. I looked back at Gloria, who seemed lost in my eyes, and asked with a smile, "What was that for?" "I needed to do something to get your attention so you would talk to me." "Well it worked." I told her laughing. "I'm so sorry," she said looking at the ground, "Alan told me everything that happend." "He told me too," I wispered to her. She looked down in embarrasment.

I lifter her head and planted a quick soft kiss on her lips and told her, "I love you." That made her feel better. "Stay right her," I told her and ran to the microphone. "Do you guys mind if we start the song over?" I asked the crowd. They began chanting for me to sing it again. I explained that it was Gloria and I's song, why she came out on stage, and that I wanted to show them somthing.

I guestured for Gloria to come over to me. She shyly walked over. I wispered in her ear, "Will you sing this song with me?" She nodded. "Sing all the way through and I'll sing parts with you."She nodded once again and motioned for the band to start playing. I can't believe she actually sang. I could tell she was nervous so I intertwined my fingers in hers.

When the song was over she was bringht red and had the biggest smile on her face. She was so beautiful. I got lost in her chocote brown eyes that had a hint of green. She was waving to the crowd and laughing, I didn't notice the were chanting her name. The set was over and we told everyone goodbye and headed back to the bus. Everyone went out partying, but I think they were trying to leave Gloria and I alone in the bus.

We were sitting on the couch talking, then I noticed her wrists. I asked if I can unbandage them and she said yes. I saw her cuts and it made me well up. I saw she was about to cry, so I leaned over and lightly kissed her scars. I looked up to see her crying, not tears of sadness, tears of happiness. "I love you, please don't ever do that again," I wispered. She was holding back the rest of her tears, accidently letting a few fall. She nodded, smileing then letting out a laugh. I kissed her and then her phone vibrated. She checked it and it was twitter. "347 new metions." it read. Gloria read it to herself and threw a hand over her mouth and began crying. I think she saw the worrie in my eyes because she then flipped the phone around and showed me. I read them all and there was tweets of her on stage acouple minuets ago, and tweets that said they were fans now, tweets that were just encouraging.

Just then my phone vibrated and Gloria motioned for me to read it. It was twitter and it said, "2 new mentions." I opened them to see someone said, "You've got a keeper their @AustinCarlile Tonight was amazing." and someone else said, "@AustinCarlile Your girlfriend is amazing, keep her going. I'm def a fan after tonight." I showed Gloria and she turned red and laughed. She spen about 1/2 an hour retweeting everyone. Gosh she was amazing. After that we kinda looked up at eachother and then got lost in eachothers eyes. She looked at my lips and I looked at hers. Slowly I kissed her. I pulled her in tight like on stage and she wrapped her arms around me. This night was awesome.

Early the next moring, Gloria got a phone call and it was from Matti. They talked for a little bit and she seemed to be trying to calm down Matti. FInally she gasped and summed up the phone call. She hung up and looked worried. I looked to her and I asked, "Whats wrong?" She looked me deep in the eyes, hers begining to water up, and said almost in shock, "Matti is pregnant."
