The thought remained in my mind for a while. Tom's name said it all, Riddle, was a riddle, an hard one too.
How did he turn so... ugly? I would've never matched up the two Toms up together. They just weren't fitting.
I missed Hermione already, and Harry and Ron, actually maybe not Ron. But they don't know me anymore. Professor Dumbledore had said, 'the second you arrive in one time, you shall cease to exist in the other.' Hermione didn't know I existed anymore...
I got pulled out of my thoughts when Headmistress Dippet stood up. All the chatter ceased quickly. Much faster than before. 'Welcome back to Hogwarts, and to some, Welcome to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. As most of you know, Professor Granygrass has mysteriously disappear so please welcome Professor Moody.' The Gryffindor table started clapping so did Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. But known of the Slytherins did.
I heard the things said, 'Dippet must be mad. Why did she hire Mad-eye.'
'He's as mad as his eye they say.'
'Father says he's prefers Gryffindors and hates us.'
'He's a auror in training what did ya expect?'
Glares were sent our way by Headmistress Dippet. So I started clapping, but Slytherins gave me glares. I looked between my own house and the Headmistress. In the end I decided to stop, I would've never admitted to myself but it was Riddle, the mysterious monster that stopped me from clapping. His eyes pierced into mine. His glare was intimidating.
Dessert was sent up. Layers of tarts, fruit, drink appeared in front of us. I couldn't decide between raspberry and blueberry tarts. But soon we were dismissed and sent to bed.

It was late, all the other girls had fallen asleep. I quietly walked down to the common room. There was someone there. His shape and features were so sharp I couldn't mistaken him for anyone else.
Why would he be down here at such a hour?
'Who are you,' his back was turned from me. How did he know I was here?
I didn't answer.
'I repeat, who are you,' he sounded annoyed now.
I remained silent.
'Last chance who are you.'
This time I answered, 'Turn around and you'll see.'
'Don't speak to me in that tone.'
'Why shouldn't I.'
'Incarcerous.'
'Protego.'
He turned around at he. His glance menacing. 'Reducto.'
'Reparo.'
He looked at me once more and stalked up the stair. Then shot one last spell. 'Petrificus Totalus'
I hadn't been expecting it. It hit me, hard. I wasn't use to being beaten. He just turned around, smirked and walked away.
