KANE looked around his bedroom, wonderment on his face. This was his bedroom for seven years and now, he will never see it again. He glanced at Charlie, who had an easy, nostalgic smile on his face. He was also looking at their shared dorm room for the last time. The boys caught each other's gazes and smiled at each other.

"This is it my boy, no more Hoggy Warts. Just our future ahead of us."

"Why do you sound like an old codger, Kane? You're younger than me." Charlie laughed.

"Oh shut it. I was just trying to be sentimental and you go and ruin it for me." Kane huffed.

"Sorry mate," He laughed, "Let's go down and spend our last day as students with our friends."

The two left the room, their trunks ready for the House Elves to collect. They both gave it a backward glance, millions of memories creating a nostalgic feeling. They walked down the staircase for the last time and entered the common room that gave them so many happy memories. Freya was sitting with Wood in the corner of the room the group usually occupied. Wood was visibly upset and Freya looked like she had sobbed the whole morning with her red, puffy eyes. Charlie shook his head amused at their reactions but also feeling quiet sad that it was the end.

"Alright gits?" Kane grinned, causing Freya to laugh snottily and Wood to roll his eyes.

"Ha ha. I don't think I'm going to miss that," Freya said, making Kane grin, "But I can't believe it's over."

"Not yet Freya, we're going to go see who won the House Cup, we're going to take the train together and THEN, we say goodbye." Kane smiled and the rest agreed heartily.

"Morning. Ready for the rest of our lives, lads? And Freya?" Jayden said cheerily after he bounded down the stairs, a grin on his face.

"We just had this conversation!" Freya sniffed starting to sob, making all the boys cringe around her.

"Oh no, I didn't mean to rehash it. Let's go eat." Jayden defused the problem and the group of friends left the common room, chatting heartily on their last day of school.

Charlotte, Hunter and Leah sat in their green, cool common room for the last time. There was a silence between the three but it wasn't uncomfortable in the least. Charlotte felt the least sad about the ending of her school days but she was respectful towards her two friends sad feelings.

"Did you really snog the Quidditch Captain in your second year?" Charlotte asked suddenly, the first time they met running through her head.

"Oh, Merlin no." Leah laughed.

Hunter barked a laugh and shook his head. "No it's nothing quite as glamorous or pervy as that."

"No, Hunter actually found me sitting here on my own, crying. I may be a pureblood but that doesn't mean much in Slytherin if your family wasn't part of the Death Eaters." Her answer was curt, an anger there.

"I prefer that," Charlotte smiled, "Especially if you're dating my brother."

"Noted." Leah grinned and Hunter slung his arms around the two girls next to him.

"Last day, ladies. Let's go beat Gryffindor." His grin was malicious.

The three stood up and made their way out of the common room. They reached the stairs, just before the hidden nook and Leah gently grabbed Hunter's arm to stop him. Charlotte looked back at the two, her eyebrow raised in confusion.

"Hunt, can I talk to you, in private?" Leah asked.

He nodded and Leah glanced at Charlotte.

"We'll see you up at the Hall, Char." The brunette nodded and left the two.
