LEAH stretched her lithe body, eyeing their captain who was pacing a hole into the carpet. Charlotte chuckled, stretching out her arms and legs.

"He's such a twat sometimes." Leah muttered to Charlotte who stifled a grin, as Elliot glared at the two.

They both gave him an innocent smile and he looked away, certain they were being cruel but had seen or heard no evidence.

A cheer went up from outside their changing room, and everyone stood up stiffly. They formed into a line and Elliot turned around before they left the room, eyeing his team.

"This is my last game, yeah? Let's go murder those bloody Gryffindors'!" His strong words made his team roar with anticipation and malice.

They stepped out onto the field, a roar of support from the Slytherins' greeting them. There were grins on the teams faces, the atmosphere of the arena making adrenaline start pumping in their veins. They held their brooms, smelling the scent of their up and coming victory.

-

"GRYFFINDOR WIN BY 10 POINTS, WITH A BEAUTIFUL CATCH BY CHARLIE WEASLEY, CAPTAIN OF GRYFFINDOR!" the shout from Hunter made the school erupt into a frenzy of cheers.

The Gryffindor team flew down onto the field, the house running onto the field to lift and congratulate their team for winning against their rivals. Charlie was lifted up and the rest of the team followed suit.

They all laughed but they were sweaty and needed to take a shower and get changed. Charlie looked around, his eyes meeting Charlotte's over the crowd. A frown marred her pretty face but she half nodded to him in congratulations. He smiled and winked, looking away from her.

He called for the team to be put down so they can shower and change. The house relented and the team were back safely on their feet. They entered the changing rooms, and the Slytherin team copied, with much less cheers and smiles.

The Slytherin team made quick work of it and left Charlotte and Leah on their own. They were going to eat dinner together when they caught up with the rest of the team.

"You okay?" Leah asked Charlotte, who had a thoughtful look on her face.

"Oh yeah, just thinking. You can go get Hunter, I'm sure he's waiting for us. I'll be right there yeah?"

Leah nodded and left the changing room, snarling as she crashed into a small Gryffindor girl.

"Watch where you're going for Merlin's sake."

The little girl ran away, her eyes big with fright.

There was shouts and laughter close to the Gryffindor changing room. There was a group of students together, laughing at banter between three people. It was Kane, Jayden and Wood. She walked up to the group, listening in on the shouts from the boys that caused the group to erupt into laughter.

"The Slytherin's take such pride in being snakes, but we're lions." Kane grinned.

"It was natural for us to win, just like Mother Nature intended." Wood finished for him.

"Sssneakss and liarsss, but we ssstill won!" Jayden shouted, hissing the 's's and the house jeered.

He had a wild, ruthless grin on his handsome face, one that made Leah feel sick to her stomach.

Slytherin might have a bad reputation but that doesn't mean everyone was like that. It was something she firmly believed in. She considered herself and her two best friends to fall in that category too.
