ALISHA’S POV

I wanted to sleep! It was so dang early in the morning, something like 4:30 am. I pulled the covers on my head and shut my eyes.

“Up Up Up!” Selena said, pulling away my covers.

“Stop it!” I groaned into the pillow.

“Get off the bed.” She said, pulling my legs.

“You have got to be KIDDING me! You are pulling me? Really, Sel? Really?”

“Ha! You’re up. Now, you have the bathroom to yourself, the stylists are on their way, so make it fast!” she ordered, blow drying her hair.

“Yes, MOM!” And I walked into the bathroom unwillingly.

Ugh…I hate early mornings. Especially after parties. Ok, I wasn’t allowed in the bachelorette party because of alcohol. But how was Malaika? It was her party, she defended. But she couldn’t consume alcohol, too. So why was SHE allowed? But back to the story, since we were thrown out, we-the underage- spent the night goofing around. And, believe me, if we weren’t paying thousands of dollars, the Captain would have kicked us out.

Yup, you read that right. The captain- of the cruise we were sailing on. Apparently, my family thought it would be a great idea to hold the wedding on a ship. Oh, sorry. I meant a small Cruise. There were atleast three/four hundred aboard, all of them the ‘closest’ friends of the family. Thankfully, Selena, Hailie, Aryan, Sun, and many more of my friends were here too. That’s the reason I survived a whole 24 hours on this ship. Sorry Cruise. Whatever.

“They are here!” Sel banged her fists against the closed bathroom door. She was more excited than I was about my brother’s wedding.

“Yea, almost done!” I replied back, pulling on my bathrobe.

When I opened the door, I saw not one, or two, but five people outside. Five people?  That’s the amount of people they need to get two girls ready? Wait, maybe they need them for Sel. She was the girly girl how took hours to get ready, not me. I was the exception.

“Hello, Miss Alisha.” A blonde said, stretching her hand forward, “I am Mitchie and I will be doing your hair for the day.”

“Uh, nice to meet you, Mitchie. And you call me Lissa, Lizzie, Liz, Lee…you now? No need to go formal. IF that’s fine with you.” I said, shaking her hand.

“Hahaha. I like you. So, you are the…”

“Junior bridesmaid.” I smiled.

“Oh. So, you have to get the perfect hair, huh?” she smirked, sitting me down.

“Guess that should be the bride.”  I replied sub-consciously, plugging my I pod into the speakers.

“Don’t worry. The best hair stylist I know is working on her.” She replied, getting her weapons out of the basket.

“I don’t doubt it. I know she will look gorgeous.”

“Let’s get started then.”  She said, plugging the hair drier on.

For the next few hours, I sat down blasting my music while everyone worked on my hair and makeup and outfit and what not. I didn’t even bother to see what they were applying. I’ve been through this before, and I know they are experts. I trust them completely with my hair and makeup.

“So, do you like it?” Riley, the makeup dude asked. That’s when I went up the vintage mirror and I was taken aback by the person staring back at me. She had a flawless, beautiful look.

The sky blue effect of the eye shadow made my eyes pop out, and the eye liner and mascara did the trick to emphasize them even more. The lips were a shade a light/nude pink, with a natural blush. My brunette hair was styled half up, half down with soft curls. My dress was a short, pink strapless dress with some black pattern on  it. And the shoes? They were custom made by Christian Louboutin. Need I say anything else? The outfit looked A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

“I know, you love it. We are awesome like that.” Mitchie hugged me, and I was overjoyed.

“Oh this is just…I dunno awesometastic! Sel, what do you think?”

“I think the brothers are gonna get much more protective now.” She winked at me.

“I can’t imagine anyone being more protective than they are!” I replied, looking her up and down. She was wearing green-ofcourse! She had nude heels on, which I thought were Marc Jacobs. Her makeup was perfect, too. She got to leave her hair straight, with side bangs. But what really caught my attention was the neck piece she was wearing.

“Yea, I know. I look great too. Now let’s move, we gotta find the others!” she said, pulling me by my arm.

I grabbed my bag and thanked everyone, as I was being pulled out by Sel. Ah! I missed her hyper activeness.
