I am in a hallway with no single door, window, or living soul; it is only me standing in a never-ending hallway. I do not know what to do, so, I start walking not feeling the least scared. I saw Ethan smiling at me and beside him was a woman also smiling at me.

"He'll protect you my daughter," the woman stated.

Who is her daughter? Me? People can be real pranksters.

"I know you'll fight for me. Just try to accept the truth and forgive me..." she disappeared; I could not help but notice the birthmark on her right wrist that glowed before her. Funny to say, it looks exactly like mine- a star.

I examined the room looking for Ethan who was nowhere.

"Are you looking for me?" a husky voice whispers in my eye and I could not help but feel like all my internal organs were having a party in my stomach.

My breath quickened, my heart was leaping in my chest, I could feel butterflies in my stomach, - this is wrong.

He disappeared. I am all alone in a creepy hallway, not that I am scared; the place is just creepy.

I walked down the hallway only to find myself in a room, it looks like a hospital room, but it changed to an all-white room.

"You, my darling are a human" I felt a hand touch my cheek.

"You smell so lovely." His fingers dug into my skin and I was did not know what happened to me but I grabbed him by the collar and bit his neck. A sweet, tasty, liquid savored my mouth; it was satisfying.

I gasped.

When I woke up, I was breathing heavily and fast and I was sweating. Thank God, it was just a nightmare; I could not live knowing that I killed someone.

Yeah when that was what he was about to do to you!

Still.

I am always talking to myself a lot these days. I checked the time, 7:32am. Oh, God I will be late for school.

"The students who are repeating their projects,-even though I made it so easy for them- are: Summers, Reign, Danny, have to repeat the project but meet me after school for your punishment" mentioned Mr. Malik.

I could not help think about my dream throughout the class, whom do I tell? Nail, Mom...DAD!

I will tell him when I get home.

2 hours after school and Nail is just texted me that 'Sorry sis, I'm having football practice. Can you go home on your own or will you wait for me?'

'I'll be fine. Don't worry about me' I texted back and slipped my phone into my back pocket.

"Hey Uthman!" yelled Reign

"Don't call me Uthman" I sneered

"Whatever"

"Are you walking home?"

"What is it to you?"

"I am being a gentleman, so enjoy it while it lasts" he smirked.

"I thought you did not like me," I snorted

"You are a rude bitch"

"And you are a disrespectful d**k" I snapped.

"Whatever, I'll be on my way"

I need someone to walk me home, I do not know people out there and I do not want what happened to me and Nail to happen again. I trailed quietly behind him.

"So the thought of bad guys on the streets did not come to you, huh?"

"How do you know what I was thinking?" I eyed him suspiciously

"You think too loud" he lied and with that, he left.

It was silent half way through our walk; my house was a bit far.

"Hiss..."

Someone winced

"What happened to you Reign?"

He wiped his hands on his jeans while observing my eyes closely, a sweet scent danced on my nose.

"Why are your eyes red?" asked Reign, his hands slowly moving in circular motion in front of my eyes.

"What do you mean?" the scent grew stronger.

"They are really red"

I did not know what came over me but I pounced on him and he pushed me off, smirking at me, then he passed his hands across his wound. I gasped at him, when I saw the wound starting healing.

I did not say anything to him because I knew it would be useless arguing with him.

"So did you like my magic trick?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Yeah it was quite impressive" I pursed my lip.

"Quite impressive" I whispered.

"Hey, there is a library close by and I want to return a book. Is that okay by you?" he asked and I nodded in response.

Once we were inside, a young lad approached Reign, his eyes were... weird. They did their manly handshake stuff and I smiled, guys are strange.

The guy looked at me from head to toe and i felt a little insecure, I turned my gaze to the Liberian.

Hurry up you mongoose!

"I wonder what type," said and they all laughed.

I need to get home; we have a dinner to attend and if I came, late mom would kill me. Dad does not care if we dress all nice and fancy as long as we are not late, he is.

"Later James"

"See ya soon" he nodded at me.

OH SWEET BED, I said once my body encountered the bed. After taking a shower and dressing up, I went to dad's study room to talk to him.

"Hey did can I talk to you?"

'Honey, Ayesha, get down here now, we're leaving"

"Why don't we talk when we get back" I breathed out a frustrated sigh, but still walked out.

We soon reach our neighbors' house. They travelled and came home yesterday, leaving the elder son at home alone. I knocked the door in a rhythmic pattern and a lad well-dressed open the door.

"Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Uthman"

My mom smiled, quite envious of the lad's manner that we would never have. We walked into the house, the whole family smiled. My gaze landed on Summers, he was well dressed, and I was wearing my casual clothes-whatever.

"You look so familiar," said James, that's Summers elder brother and I rose my eyebrow at him.

What is he doing, we met even if we did not talk to each other. I smiled.

"Yeah, at the library with Reign"

"You were out with Reign, and you went to the library," asked Summers with his eyebrows up.

"Yeah"

Mom changed the topic and they continued talking until it was time for us to leave.

"It was nice having dinner with you"

"It is our pleasure," said dad and we made our way back home.
