The Luminary

War

"You are the luminary  just like your mom. Maybe I should explain this some other time because I know it's too much for you to take in."

That was the same thing that lady from my dream said, something about a luminary I stood up to leave but leaving without a word would be rude.

"Please let Ashley know I came by" I left.

It started to rain but I kept walking in the rain. Everything Mr. Malik said was moving in my head.

If I was Lewis biological daughter then he should inform my parents and then take a DNA test to confirm.

I heard a swift sound pass by me but I did not look back. I heard it again but this time I saw only blonde hair and pretty lips but every part of her body was covered just like the woman from my nightmare.

I felt claws scratch my face harshly and I yelped at the pain. I touched my cheek and examine my hand only for me to see blood.

As if that was not enough, I heard like someone was watching me like lurker. I ignored the pain in my cheek and walk fast. I need to get to a safe place and I remembered Reign's house being close by but I don't think he'll be happy seeing me there.

There's no harm in trying. I knocked at the door looking around if their was anyone. The door opened.

"Hey, I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you but can I please stay here for a while?" He loked at the rain that just got worse and sigh. He moved so I could walk in.

"Thanks"

"What are you doing in the rain? And what happened to your face? It's bleeding!"

He rushed and got a first aid kit and started cleaning the blood gently. I couldn't help but notice his facial features while he was so close.

"What were you doing in the rain?" he asked again.

"I was taking a walk"

"What happened to your face?"

"Someone clawed me"

"This is not an animal scratch, it's a witch scratch"  he stated.

"I felt like someone was watching me. I think it's a lurker" he gave me a questioning look. I had to start explaining the story about the lurkers to him.

"Let me get you a towel" he left me and went upstairs.

I still felt like someone was watching me. There was a small creak that came from the ceiling, I looked up and saw a man on the ceiling. I shouted.

Reign came down and the man was holding a knife and with the way he was standing I could tell he could just beat Reign and I to death.

After running around the house trying to save ourselves, I ended up getting stabbed in the arm but not that it was serious just a little stab. The lurker feeling satisfied with what he had done left.

The rain didn't seem to stop, so it was just two of us. I placed my hand trying not to feel the pain while tracing the wound and it faded. It shocks me.

Though there was a little pain but not too much.

"You need to be more careful"

I felt like I could trust, I don't know why but something inside me says that he would never betray me even if he hates me.

"What is a luminary?"

"why do you ask?"

"I just want to know"

"Since there is no apparent reason, then I don't think you need to know" I left it at that. It was silent for a minute till I broke it.

"Why do you dislike me?" I asked softly while sitting on the floor beside him.
