Threat

I looked at myself in the mirror. Reign has e'en avoiding me since that war and I won't kill myself about it. I won't think about him.

"What are you thinking about?" asked Ashley.

"Reign, obviously." winter simply answered.

"What! Him out of everyone! No!" I exclaimed.

"Your lieing!"

"I am not! " I stomped my foot.

"You open your nose when you are lying" Ashley stated.

"I saw how you kept glancing at him with hurt in your eyes after that war when he knelt beside you and then stood up without saying a word" Winter stated.

"It's like he has been avoiding you" Ashley added.

"Well I don't care" I huffed.

"Tell us"

"It's nothing. I'm fine!" I faked a smile. I'm thankful they didn't force me to say it. As we made our way into the school premises, we met the boys and Summer.

"Hey guys" I beamed. We talked till it was time for us to go to our classes.

"Ashley..." I sighed. She looked at me with concern.

"I don't know if I like Reign but... " I paused.

"But what?" she encouraged me to go on.

"I don't know... It's just that it hurt when he stood up, I felt like crying and didn't know why."

"Then you like him" she poked me.

"But I'm not supposed to" I whispered.

"Why? "she asked with confusion clear in her voice.

"Someone is related to Blondie, we have a snitch in the group."

"That's why you didn't tell Winter and I about your feelings for Reign. You don't trust any of them." I nodded.

"But how do you know?" she asked.

"There is no way that Blondie knows that we train there."

"What if someone followed you guys?"

"That is not possible because we ran and all her minions are lurkers, they are human beings not vampires. And only the group knows our training ground"

"Are you sure?" she didn't want me doubting them too easily.

"That woman is the bad guy here,  and bad guys always have a plan, they watch you closely. Since she appears in your dreams that means she has powers and maybe she was the one following you. It's possible" She made sense.

"Ughhh! This all so confusing and frustrating"I pulled at my hair hard.

We continued walking till I found my brother at the parking lot in his car typing away.

"You coming with us Ashley?" he asked with a smile.

"Yeah"

We dropped Ashley off at her house when we saw Kate. Not being rude I came down and hugged her.

"How was school?" She asked with a, fake smile.

"It was wonderful" with that I turned and then I heard a cough.

"This is my brother"I pointed at him. He gave her a quick wave. She moved closer to him making my guard to be up but she kept moving closer.

Nail move' I commanded. He moved back a little but she kept coming closer.
