Nick's POV (Still, again)

"I think the best thing we should do is set up camp here," Cory said, sitting on one of the crates near Christina. "Just like old times?" Adam asked. "Speaking of that, what about the chip?" Uni asked. "We could do it now?" Dawn asked, taking out the chip that says "Cory" on it. "M-maybe when Chrisy wakes up," Cory said, stuttering a bit. "Okay then!" Uni exclaimed happily. "But first, when were you going to tell us?" Adam asked, sitting and leaning against the wall. "About what?" Cory asked. "You know, her," I said, pointing to Christina, who was still sleeping. "I, uh." "Yeah, when were you going to tell us?" Uni also asked. "I didn't remember, I guess," Cory answered. "How can you forget about your own sister?!" I asked. "I was in a vault for a really long time, do you expect me to remember?!" He shouted to me. "Wait, what about you Dawn?" I asked. "Yeah, do you know anything about her?" Cory added. "I can check my files, but I'll have to do a shutdown," Dawn said. Cory nodded. Dawn did some robotic voices before shutting down. "Well, what now?" Uni asked, sitting at Christina's feet. "Maybe, about the Enclave?" Adam asked, gesturing his head to Cory.

Cory's POV

"Maybe, about the Enclave?" Adam asked me. I sighed. "What do you need to know?" I asked. "You're just going to tell us?" Nick asked. I nodded. "Why not? You are my friends." There was an awkward moment of silence, probably about that moment. "That is true," Uni said. "We could maybe know a bit more, some facts maybe," Adam said. "Well, we do know that they are trying to nuke the green place," Nick said. "I know that," I answered. "How?" Uni asked, looking up at me. I looked at him and said, "Ross... Max... Boss." "How were they alive?" Adam asked, putting his hand on his chin. "I don't know." "And Sky?" Nick asked. "Who's that?" I asked. "Oh, I guess he's still dead?" Uni said. "I, guess?" I asked, a bit confused. "Besides him, what about the nuke?" Nick asked, moving this 'Sky' guy out of the conversation. "I, don't know that either," I said embarrassed. "What?!" Adam shouted. Nick put his finger on his lips and pointed to Christina, who was sleeping. "Sorry, but still, how do you not know?" Adam whispered. "They didn't tell me, okay?" I answered. He groaned. "I say we should just rest," Nick said. "Who's going to keep guard?" Uni asked. "I-" "Susan will!" Nick said, interrupting Cory. "Are you sure?" Uni asked. "Of course Uni. We'll be fine." "If that thing doesn't eat us first," Adam whispered to me. I did a small chuckle, quiet enough that Nick wouldn't hear. "Okay girl, go watch," Nick said, pointing to the front door. Susan did a growl and then walked out, on her fours. I sat against the wall, near Chrisy. "Night guys," I said, before closing my eyes. "Night Cory," I heard Uni said.

Dream

Everything was black, just like when I first woke up in that vault. "Is he awake yet?" I heard a voice say next to me. "Not yet boss," Another voice said. It sounded like Ross though. "Hurry up, we need to make sure this works," The voice said.... Boss?! "But why this camera face?" Ross asked. "Christina said he could fix, that's what we need for the green place." "What about it?" Ross asked. "We need to~" Everything started to, fly away. Like nothing existed, everything was gone.

"Cory?" I heard a voice say. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Christina tugging on my arm. "Yeah Sis?" I asked, looking into her eyes. She had a hint of fear and worry in her eyes. "I-I'm sc-scared," She stuttered. "Why?" I asked. "About-about the En-en-" I hugged her before she could finish. "They won't hurt us, we're safe now," I said, rubbing her back, trying to calm her. She started breathing slowly. "But-but." "Just go to sleep, you'll be fine." I sat against the wall again. Christina crawled next to me. I put one arm around her as she buried her face into my chest. "Are you sure we're safe?" She asked. "We got a deathclaw out there. You know how scary she is?" She did a little giggle and sighed. "Just go to sleep, okay?" She nodded and closed her eyes. I closed my eyes and fell asleep once again.

Nick's POV

I could barely sleep, I don't know why. I opened my eyes and looked outside. Susan was sitting down and watching the night sky. Guess I better take shift... since no one is awake... I stood up and grabbed my bat. I slumped it over my shoulder and looked back at my friends. I saw Adam sleeping, Uni, blanket...blanket?! I looked at where I had laid Christina and she wasn't there. Where's- I looked over at Cory and saw them... sleeping together! I clenched my fist and tightened my grip around my bat. Wait... why am I feeling like this? Am I jealous? I shook my head. Why would she like a guy like me? I'm just a salesman... I looked back at her before walking outside. "Hey Susan girl!" I said. Susan looked at me and walked to me. "Want some?" I asked, taking out some stew. She nodded and started clawing at the ground, meaning she was hungry. I chuckled and threw the stew a few feet away. She sniffed around before running to the stew. "After that you can go to sleep," I said to Susan. She ate the can, literally, and walked back to me. "Go on in, the doors broken so you can probably fit." She bent down on her fours and crawled in. I sat down and looked at the stars. "They're so pretty," I said to myself. I looked down and finished, "Just like-" "Who?" I heard a voice interrupt. I looked back and saw Adam standing at the broken down doors. "Nothing!" I shouted, turning around so he didn't see my blush. "Come on, I know when you're lying," He plainly said, sitting next to me. "Nothing Adam," I said back. "Alright, alright," He said, waving his hands. "So, you taking shift?" I nodded. "Since when?" "Because I can," I replied, rolling my eyes. "You've been acting odd lately," He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. (What do you mean? Yeh, yeh, yeh!) "You know what I mean Nick," Adam said, nudging me. "I-it's nothing!" I shouted. "You into someone?" He said. "Since when were you into romance?" I asked. He shrugged. "Ever since you carried Christina bridal style." I blushed. "I see that," He said, touching my cheek, a bit harshly. "St-stop!" I shouted.

Christina's POV

"St-stop!" I heard someone shout. I opened one of my eyes and looked around. I saw Uni, Dawn, and.... Susan? Why is Susan here? I looked up and saw Cory's red light, meaning he was sleeping. I booped where his nose would be. He turned a bit and breathed. I giggled and got up slowly. "Just spill the beans," I heard someone say. I snuck to the door and peaked out the door. Outside, there was Adam and Nick sitting side by side. (New ship #Nadam...JK) "About what?" Nick said. "About a certain someone you know." Who are they talking about? "I'm going to sleep," NIck said, standing up. "Fine then, I'll take shift then?" Adam asked. Nick nodded and handed him the bat. "Nah, I got this baby," Adam said, taking out the deagle. "Okay, night." Nick started walking closer. I sat down on a crate and pretended I saw or heard nothing. "Chri-christina?" Nick said once he saw me. I looked at him and waved. "Hey Nick," I whispered. "Wha-what are you doing?" He asked. "Couldn't sleep," I lied. "Oh, same here," He replied. "Yeah, it's just, everything that has happened, really hard to sleep you know?" "I know right!" Nick shouted, in a whisper. I nodded. "So, want to tell me a bit about yourself?" Nick asked, kicking the ground. "You already know about me." "I mean other things. I only know that you're Cory's sister, you work for, you know, and that you're a really love-" "Yes?" I asked. "Lovable person! Yeah, who wouldn't want to be your friend?" Nick said quickly. "Oh, I see," I said, looking out the window. "Weeell, I 'm going to bed," Nick said, sitting against the wall. I nodded and sat next to him. "I'll just... be awake for awhile," I said. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder. "Nick?" I asked. His eyes were closed. I giggled and snuggled into his chest. "Goodnight, Nicky."
