I'm In Love

Farkle's POV

I was on my way to Topanga's to meet my friends. I kept thinking about that dream and how real it seemed. I wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings and I accidently ran into Smackle. I was sorta scared that she was going to start yelling at me but surprisingly she didn't. She looked at me with understanding eyes. She looked at me and smiled. "Hi Farkle how have you been?" She was talking to me and not yelling at me. Does she remember I broke up with? "Hi Isadora. I'm good. How about you?" "I'm doing really good actually. After you broke up with me I was so mad and sad I didn't want to look or talk to anybody. But I started thinking and I came to the conclusion that you were right, our relationship was going nowhere and we were both just miserable."  Wow two days ago I wouldn't have expected this but now that I'm seeing it I can truly see that she's ok with this. "Wow, Isadora that means a lot to me. Friends?" I ask her. "Friends," she says. "So now on another note. You and Maya?" she says. My eyes widen. How on earth does she know about my feelings  for Maya? I know she's like super smart but I didn't think she was able to read my mind! "What about me and Maya?" I ask her. "Oh don't deny it Farkle. After I ran out of the cafe I came back to talk to you and try to reason things out but when I came in I saw you and Maya talking and laughing. I had never seen you smile so much. You had a look in your eyes that I never saw when you were with me." Ok, where was this all coming from, Smackle the last person I would think of knowing so much about feelings, knew how I was feeling before I even knew! "Look it's complicated," I tell her. "I don't exactly know how I feel." "Well Farkle let me tell you something, just cause our relationship didn't work out doesn't mean that you need to be afraid to be with someone who could possibly make you very happy. That's all I have to say. Bye Farkle." She walks away and I just stand there not sure what to do. I make my way to Topanga's  where my friends are probably already waiting for me. I look through the window before going in. I see Riley and Lucas in their usual seats, right next to each other and secretly holding hands. They think Maya and I haven't noticed but we figured it out the first day, we just haven't said anything. I look to the right and I see Maya. Gosh, she looks beautiful- wait what? I shrug it off and I walk in. "Hey guys sorry I'm late." "It's ok Farkle. We saved you a seat," Riley tells me. The seat was right next to Maya. I plop down and look at her. "Hey," I say to her. "Hi," she says to me. She smiles and I smile back. I can't help but feel happy by just looking at her. "So are we going to order or what," says Lucas. "Yeah I'll go order us some things, Maya come with me," says Riley. They get up and walk up to the counter. As they walk off I stare at Maya and smile. Lucas noticed cause he started to laugh. "Hey, dude what's with the huge smile?" "Huh? Oh, nothing." I tell him. "Oh really. So you were totally not just staring at Maya." "Ok fine, yes I was staring at her," I confess to him. "Ok now the next question is why where you staring at Maya?" he asks. "Lucas," I say. "Yeah." "When you admitted you liked Riley and you told her, did it change anything?" I ask him. "Wow! Who said I confessed I told her I liked her." He says. "You guys make it so obvious. You guys were literally just holding hands." I tell him. "Ok fine. Riley and I have been going out for almost a month now," he tells me. "And when you finally admitted it, did you feel weird?" I ask him. "No, actually I felt the opposite of weird. I felt like I had finally had been sure of something in my life. Why are you asking?" "Um, I just wanted to know," I say as I look at Maya. "Oh my gosh..You like Maya!" he practically yells. "Shut up caption obvious. Trying not to tell the whole world," I say. "Sorry. Wait since when?" he asks. "Since last night," I tell him. "You going to tell her?" "Ha, you're  funny. No, I'm not telling her, especially after everything that has happened with her and Josh and Smackle and I. It's just not the right time," I tell him. "Then when will the right time be Farkle. By not telling here your just going to hurt yourself, no one else." "Shh, here they come. They come back with our drink. We begin to talk and I tell them about how I ran into Smackle. We stayed talking for about an hour till I offered to walk Maya home. We decided to leave the two love birds alone. After I dropped Maya off I kept thinking to myself, 'I like Maya.' I really want to tell her but for the time being it's better if I just keep it to myself. After all, I told myself not to fall in love but this time, I couldn't control it. I fell in love with Maya Penelope Hart om purpose.
