[ Harry ]

I fixed my shirt and sighed. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I looked over at the clock and swallowed the lump in my throat. There was a light knock at my door, and I went over to open it.

"Yes mum?" I said, and wiped the sweat on my palms with my jeans. She smiled and extended a hand to fix my curls. I chuckled and saw bags forming under her eyes. I frowned, remembering why I was going to the music festival. To go and try to get signed.

"Good luck tonight, baby." She bid, and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek. The White Eskimo was the band my friends and I had made. We were just fooling around, but when it caught a couple of people's attention we decided to try out for the Doncaster Music Festival. Sure, it's a little costy going to it due to the fact that I live in Worcestershire.

"Thanks mum." I said and pulled away from the hug just far enough to see her eyes. I smiled and nodded. "I'm going to take you see the world, okay? You and Gemma."

I saw tears forming in her eyes and I smiled. I nodded, mentally promised myself the same thing. One day I was going to see the world. And this was going to help me.

"Oh, Harry. You don't need to take me see the world, you and Gemma are my world." she whispered and ruffled my curls. I smiled at her and she gave me a stomach-warming smile. I laughed and she wiped the tear that I was unaware of. "You don't have to proof anything, you hear me?"

I nodded, and she smiled. "Now get going, your going to be late." I laughed and nodded. I grabbed my pack and ran out the door.

"Bye mum, BYE GEM." I said and ran out the door. I went straight to the metro. I wasn't going to be late. This was my chance, my chance to proof to everyone, to myself that I can do this. Become famous. Help my mum. Get Gemma into a good uni. I had this chance in my hand, and nothing and no one was going to stop me.
