[ Harry ]

I tossed and turned. I slowly opened my eyes, and yawned. There was an intense pain in my chest.

"Morning sunshine." said Louis, and I turned to see a blurry image of him. But I could still see his ocean blue eyes.

"Morning." I mumbled, my voice sounding deeper than usual. He smiled and handed me a glass of water.

"I, um. Thanks." I said, and he chuckled.

"You owe me twice, I'm afraid." he said, and I nodded. I sat up and took a drink of water. I looked around. "We're in a hotel. It's barely 5 pm."

I nodded and noticed I was wearing a new pair of clothes.

"Oh yeah, since your asthma attack caused you to sweat a bit I had to change you clothes." my eyes widened at the thought of Louis undressing me. I suddenly felt a bit insecure. He had seen me, unclothed. I bit my lips, feeling my cheeks flushing.

"No worries, I didn't peek." he chuckled, and took a sip of his beer. I nodded.

"Where did you find the clothes?" I said, and he chuckled.

"Had to buy them. All my clothes were to small for you." he chuckled and I nodded.

"But I mean, I used your own money so it didn't really break me." I glared at him, hoping he was kidding.

"Seriously?" I said, and he nodded. I frowned and rolled my eyes. "Bastard." I mumbled and he chuckled.

"Bastard who's saved your live twice." he said and I nodded. It was true, unfortunetly. Wether I wanted to deny it or not, Louis had saved twice in one day. And it was barely, what, 5o'clock.

"I need to go back." I said, and his eyes met mine. He laughed, and shrugged. "Who's stopping you, Harry? I'm certaintly not." I frowned, and pushed off the covers. Weak or not, I had to go back there and win. Win the competition and help my mum.

"You promised you'd help me." I said, and he raised his perfectly shaved eyebrow. He chuckled, and took another sip of his beer.

"May I remind you that I promised to help you sneak it if and only if you would jump the fence. But you didn't. You made me drag and haul you like a dead body."

I frowned, and looked down. "But I'm here, aren't I? If it wasn't for me, you'd be in jail."

"Correction, we'd be in jail. We are still hand-cuffed." he said, gesturing towards the metal accesory hanging from our wrists. I clenched my hand, digging my nails into my palms.

"Bloody hell, why are you  so complicated? Were you always like this?" I said, and I knew what was going to happen was going to drift the 'lets be friends' idea far from the punk-rocker boy infront of me. But up to this point, I was done. "No wonder your the way you are now, did you have such a fucked up like or what? People out there have plans, y'know. I have plans. I want to win because, well simply because I want to give a better life. Were you fuckin kicked out or what, di-"

"Ding ding. We have a winner." he said sacrasticlly, and I sighed. I was trying to figure him out, and I knew this wasn't the best way. I was always rubbish at fighting, but I was trying. "Twice, actually. Once for coming home drunk, second and final time simply because I was gay."

My head snapped up at the last words. I swallowed the lump in my throat. "I-I, I'm sorry. I didn't know."

He laughed, and took another drink. "Obviously."

We shared a moment of silence, up until Louis turned on the t.v. I searched my pockets for my phone, and cleared my throat before speaking. "H-Have you seen my ph-"

"It's on the kitchen counter." he said, and gestured to the room's kitchen counter. I nodded, and scratched the back of my head. He looked up at me, and chuckled. "Oh, yeah." He swiftly stood up from the chair, and we walked towards the counter.

"Look, Louis." I started, but he put up his hand in responce. He sighed, and bit his lip.

"No, Harry. Don't. This competion shit thing means something to you, and to be honest--I wasn't going to give you this but I will." he handed me a ticket, and he smiled softly. "We're going to go find Officer Teasdale and get this things off so you can perform, alright?"

"But what about you?" I said, and took the ticket from him. "What about The Rouges ?"

He shrugged, and scratched the back of his. "Dunno, I haven't even seen them all day. I'm sure, they're out there getting piss drunk." I smiled, and nodded.

"Let's go find officer Teasdale.." I said, and he nodded.

We thanked the lady at the front office, and walked our way back to the festival. Louis was a bit behind, and I turned to make sure he was okay. "Louis?" I asked, and he looked up at me. He smiled, and sighed.

"I just wanted to apologize." he said, and caught up with my pace. I raised my eyebrow, and he chuckled. "For getting us into this mess."

I smiled, and shook my head. "Don't be. This is my fault as much as yours."

"But I shouldn't have started that bloody fight." he said, and sighed. I nodded, agreeing with him. Within these few hours I learned that the boy had anger issues. "It wasn't my fight to get into either." I said, trying my best to make him feel better.

He looked up at me, and smiled. "Next time, mind your bloody business." I laughed, and we made out way to the front gate. As you walked closer, you could hear the roar of the crowd.

"Tickets please." said the box-office worker, and I handed him the ticket Louis had gave me. "The Rouge? Wait, your the lead singer?" I bit my lip, and widened my eyes. I glanced at Louis, who was doing the same.

"Uh, yeah." I said, nervous. What if he asks me to sing a verse of a song?

"That's so cool, man. Wait, why are you hand-cuffed to that Loser?" he scoffed, and Louis raised his eyebrow.

"For your information, I'm the lead singer of The Rouge and I'm more of winner than you, mate. Your the one stuck with a lousy job."

"Yeah, atleast I'm not hand-cuffed."
