The phone rang, but I could barely hear it over my daughters' and son's loud horse play. My wife who was out of town on a business trip would be back tomorrow, this was the most thankful I had ever been in so long. I got up from the table where I was drinking some of my all time favorite whiskey. I went over and picked it up.
"Hello, Swanson here"
"RON! You big lug! I missed you so much! I need to talk to you!" Leslie shouted.
I brought the phone away from my ear after all those loud words, I partially went deaf.
"Calm down woman!"
"I CANT RON TOO IMPORTANT, TOO EXCITED" Leslie squealed.
"Okay goodbye Knope, see you then" I hung up the phone.
I did miss the gang and was excited for this trip, just got to see if my wife approves....
