We eventually found a place to stay. There was a few dead roaming around outside and the big broad door was open enough for more to climb through.

"Can someone tell me why the actual killing is less stressful in real life than in the Last of Us." i crouched behind a pile of sand bags and grabbed my 9mm and took aim.

Ronnie and Erica took down three and i got the last one and we advanced toward the building.

We squeezed through the gap and clicked on our lights. We didnt see anything of concern but we searched each level and went back the first and closed the door completely.

We settled down and slept in intervals until morning. Where we went to the roof.

The thing that bothered us the most is realizing how close we were to complete nothingness for hundreds of miles.

"Did we really travel that far?" Erica asked. "Theres a horde there!"

I looked in the direction she was pointing there was no more than twelve there.

"We can just take them out from up here. Each of these things are inline and scoped." Ronnie suggested.

"I'm not a recon soldier but sure. Less conflict." i took the rifle from my shoulder and looked down the scoped.

"Four each." i said.

"four each. " Ronnie mocked and took down what was close.

I rolled my eyes and followed her actions and soon enough we had no issue.
