"Im trying to figure out why i went sour." i turned the key in the police vehicle we found. "I think i finally snapped. I mean. I've never been very stable in the mentality department."

"You seem better now though." Erica huffed throwing the very heavy dufflebag in the back seat.

The phone in my pocket buzzed and i grabbed and looked at the screen.

"What do you want, Tobias?" i hissed.

"Where are you?"

"What do you mean?" i rolled my eyes.

"I'm looking for you? I broke off from the others sometime around 3 this morning."

"You're fucking stupid." I ended the call and started the car.

"So. Were driving no where now?"

"I dont know."

We drove in silence for a while. We stopped so we could fill up the tank and ended up staying at the abandoned gas station for the night.

Desert nights are brutal. Extremely cold and windy. We stayed inside the building and it was calm until we heard another car pulling in.

We held our breath then the door opened and chimed.

I crawled on the floor like some deranged animal. Springing up when my hand was stepped on and shoved them to the ground.

"can I help you?" i snarled.

"I don't really enjoy staring up the barrel of a shot gun. So it'd help if you got it the fuck out of my face."

I rolled my eyes and flashed light in his face.  "mike?"

"kitten? "

"oh boy. What are the chances."
