The countdown for our concert was on and...
We couldn't find Ashton's drumkit.
I know.
What even?
We were now at 8 seconds and we didn't have any drums.
"All I found were his drumsticks" Ramey panics to me.
"Oh! Ramey. There you are. Do me a favor please baby?" I ask.
"3..2!" The crowd chanted.
"Yeah what is it?" She asks.
"Stall for us please" I say as I push her out on stage.
*RAMEY'S POV*
I'm pushed out on stage.
Everyone is confused but they start cheering.
I walk up to the microphone and adjust it to my height.
"Well hello." I say.
The crowd says hello back.
"So I'm obviously not five sauce. They're having a few technical difficulties. And by that I mean we literally can't find Ashton's drumkit." I laugh and the crowd begins laughing too.
"This could take a while so get comfy. Until then I'm your entertainment." I take the mic off the stand.
"So my name is Ramey. Some of you really hate me. Some of you actually like me for some reason" I smile and shrug.
"Uh...so entertainment." I look around.
Someone tells me to do a handstand.
"A handstand?" I try to confirm and they nod.
"Hey this is limited talent I can't do a handstand." I laugh.
They say to do a cartwheel.
"Can't do a cartwheel either. I can do a half summersault." I shrug and set the mic down gently on the floor.
I begin to try and roll but I end up rolling to the side instead.
"Maybe not." I laugh, picking up the mic while the crowd laughs.
I dust off my black skinny jeans.
"Hey what about this thing." I laugh and go to pick up a guitar.
I sit on the edge of the stage with my feet hanging off.
"This is an old rock classic." I say and set the microphone down next to me.
I begin to play Yankee Doodle.
Everyone begins laughing and I smile.
"I'm kidding I'm kidding" I laugh.
I begin playing the guitar solo to Wrapped Around your finger. A solo I had been practicing for a very long time.
I enjoyed having to slides down the fret board. It was fun.
Everyone began cheering and I played the chorus and everyone began singing along.
People started waving their phone flashlights back and forth.
I stood up and put the mic on its stand.
"I'm wrapped around your finger, I'm wrapped around your finger, I'm wrapped around your finger. I'm wrapped around your finger" I cut off my singing right there. "Well we get the point the song goes on, yachta, yachta." I say as I place the guitar back on its stand and the crowd laughs, some boo.
I cross cross my legs as I sit down.
"Now what?" I ask.
I think for a while. What could I do.
"OH!" Something pops into my head. "If any of you have a piece of paper or a wrapper, write down a truth or dare down on it and hand it up to the stage" I say excitedly.
People begin pulling gum wrappers and broken pencils out of their bags and handing them up to the stage.
Little piles begin forming on the edge of the stage.
I pick up a stack of them and look at the first one.
"I'm gonna do a dare first." I say.
The first one was a truth so I put it to the side.
The next dare I pulled out was "take your sweatshirt off"
I read it out to the crowd.
"That's easy." I laugh.
I pull it off over my head and set it next to me.
"Now a truth." I pick up the paper I set aside before.
"Before you and Luke started dating, who was your favorite and what was your favorite song?" I read to the crowd. "Oh gosh.."
I racked my brain.
"I swerved a LOT. When I first found them, my favorite was Ashton. Then Luke. Then Cal. Then Mikey. Then all of them." I laughed. "but I was usually a Mikey girl..do-don't tell Luke" I whispered and the crowd laughed.
"I heard that." I turned around to see Luke walking onstage with a microphone.
The crowd cheered.
"Oh hey!" I said laughing.
He gave me a kiss.
"Is Mikey still your favorite?" He asked smugly.
The crowd cheered so loud I winced slightly.
"I dunno. I've never kissed Mikey before." I laugh and he frowns.
The crowd laughs.
"Thanks for entertaining them, but we found his drumkit babe. Bye!" He says.
We hug and I wave to the crowd, then walk off stage.
